From Paris: Palace of Versailles Tickets & Tours with Bus Transfers

Ticketing experience was fine. No issues. What I had a problem with was some minor organizational issues. We are told to be 15 minutes early. We waited for 2 people for 10 minutes past the tour departure time. Why bother being early? Someone asked if we were able to leave items on the bus, we were told that the bus was going to be making other trips while we were in Versailles, so "probably not a good idea". The answer should have been "no." Versailles is an amazing place, and it was wonderful to see it and learn about it's very interesting past.

Everyone was super attentive, very knowledgeable, and courteous. The whole process was easy from start to finish. Highly recommend.

The tour was great and so very enjoyable with our tour guide OMAR!!! He was superb and funny and so interactive with so much knowledge, gave us great insights and historical information. Both me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Omar!

Easy to book, clear directions to meeting place,efficient check in and good value for the money. We enjoyed the overall experience and recommend this activity.

My experience with Headout was all good except one thing. We were struggling to find the meeting point and they were trying to contact me via WhatsApp, without any prior notice that they would use WhatsApp or any previous comms on it. I was monitoring SMS and tried unsuccessfully to use the phone number provided in the email to contact them to say we were in the area. The phone system is layers of menus and then cut me off before answering. We missed our tour but fortunately were able to get on the next. My advice to other travellers is to allow 45mins ahead of the departure time and view contact on WhatsApp, email and SMS if you think you may be late. The meet and greet staff and the guide were excellent.

This bus tour was great The guide at Verasailles was very enthusiastic. She pointed out all the palace highlights and gave a great historical account of the place

The instructions were clear on where to meet before and after the tour. Tour done okay but the picking up more tourists from opera to Eiffel to Chams elysee was tedious

Lovely staff members, really helpful and tentative! Very interesting trip to the Versailles! You all have to add the Musical Fountains option in the Garden's of the Palace.

A painless experience, although a little disconcerting to meet outside a certain shop on a busy Paris street near the Opera. (There was no signposted meeting point). Thankfully it was the right place (as directed) and their rep turned up about 15 minutes early. She was friendly and informative and accompanied the group to Versailees and made arrangements with other customers who were late to meet us at Versailles and give them the tickets. Obviously took care of her customers and dedicated to solving the problems for them. Took us to the entrance of Versailles and ensured we got the guides etc. and then left us to wander around on our own (which was the arrangement). She ensured we all had her colleagues mobile number in case of difficulties during the day and we met him at the meeting point and he accompanied us back in the coach. At the end of the trip they were willing to drop some of us off at the Arc d'Tromphe instead of the Opera as it was on their way. A good experience all round

It was mentioned a 7 hour visit (from 10 am to 5 pm) but the bus made 3 stops, from the opera to the triumphal arch and then to the eiffel tower. we arrived at 11:45 am at the palace and at 3:30 pm we had to get back on the bus. We had to wait in line to get in and all this delay made it impossible to enjoy the gardens that have enormous dimensions. It was sad and disappointing because one hopes to make the most of the time on vacation and who knows if you can come back again. If you can, there is public transportation that reaches the place and it is very easy to use them.

We arrived in Versailles a little late. The difficult part of the day was the bus driver's behavior. Even on the way there, he was constantly honking his horn. Nobody was fast enough for him. Anyone who didn't set off within a thousandth of a second of the traffic lights turning green was honked at The braking and starting was so harsh that my daughter felt sick and I was afraid that she wouldn't make it to the exit without breaking. I myself was completely exasperated by this constant honking. Even on the way back, it didn't change. My daughter and I were so exhausted from the bus ride that it overshadowed the experience we had actually booked. I also found being late - even if it was only 20 minutes - very inappropriate - after all, it is clear that the traffic in the city center is always very heavy and if you have to make 5 stops, you should plan enough safety.

It was great to have a whole day planned, that included transport. It is definitely an attraction that needs a whole day. We had the cruise booked but did it the next day (tickets are open) would highly recommend this excursion!

We had the best tour guide, we felt we were on a live history class, so rick in details but also on location. It was the most amazing imersion / experience. Having a passionate history teacher as a guide made this the best event.

It was overall a good trip but it was exceptionally busy so I think the bus should have left a little earlier so we could get in at our ticketed time- 12:10 opposed to missing that start time and having to wait an extra 30 min at the gate before we could enter. I know you don't control how busy the venue is but on the day we went it was extra busy ( this is my second Versailles tour with your company) and this experience wasn't as good as my first.

Friendly guide but 3 boarding points before we actually leave does mean very long on the bus. Also, it would be good to mention in advance that once inside Versailles you cannot buy food and drink until you leave the grounds again, only there is water and something for lunch for sale. If you don't have something with you, the period without that option is very long.

Guide was excellent. Travel by coach rtaher than train was an unexpected bonus, but welcome. After the tour I stayed and roamed the gardens by myself, with som every clear instructions on how to catch the train back. Thank you
