The architecture of the palace is magnificent, it's the best palace I've seen.
i'm not much of a museum lover, but the prado attracted me too much.
I won't hesitate to visit again if I get the chance.

A little difficult to find the entrance, but the overall tour was nice. We didn't have a guide so we explored the palace on our own, which was pretty okay, i think you will only need an audio guide if you wanna learn more.

The roofs were not down despite the cold weather and there were leaves from the trees even on the lower deck.

It helped me a lot to have the tickets, in the afternoon. We arrived several hours late but they gave us the option to enter with the tickets we had and avoid a line of more than 150 people.

There were many stops. Everyone helped give directions. The audio was clear but some of the seats did not match the language and channels.
It was raining hard. I wish it had a side cover on the top deck.

Great experience, uncomplicated admission
We were taken to the upper floor in the royal elevator. Great access for people with physical disabilities.

We visited the Royal Palace on 31/10. I highly recommend taking the queue-cutting tickets, which saved us a huge queue. We took an audio guide which really helped us understand the tour. A very pleasant visit.

Actually i only do 3 stars. 🌟 because the stops are so spread out and not easy..its always full and packed. The conductor are not nice bit nasty plus sometimes they stop narration

Easy purchase experience
Love the place
The only drawback is it didnt specify the actual entrance point. We went to the group tour entrance while we should be at the individual tour entrance

The visit was a bit useless because after getting tickets for three people 40 € to avoid queuing for more than 1 hour there were no guides or anyone to give you an explanation and as we are not from Madrid we could only read the signs of each room. In short we will not return

It was great that the tickets could be bought in advance. The bus trip was fine. Too bad the audio didn't work properly, so we didn't hear everything. The queue for the palace was very long. With our pre-purchased tickets we were able to skip the line. Very nice.

Easy to find pick-up locations. Friendly staff. Nice tour (modern and old). Always a spot free at the top.

Great tour that allowed us to ride and see with small kids a lot of the city. Very nice commentary. Easy to use and very helpful for non-Spanish speakers.

Good quality of vehicles and narration (guide), excellent range of languages for the guide, good frequency of buses and punctuality.

I was lucky that I bought tickets online, otherwise it was a 1 kilometer queue. Perhaps it would have been good to specify somewhere that those with online tickets can enter past the enormous queue to buy tickets, where exactly.
The royal palace is gorgeous! I found the tour quite short, especially as it is compared to Versailles. But the experience is worth it. I think that here, on this site, I found the cheapest tickets.

Booking was easy but be aware of how many similar tours stop in exact spot. Big bus is obvious and dark red color but two different companies have bright red - one is Madrid city tours and one is city sightseeing Madrid. Many tourists getting on wrong buses and confused. Also stop near plaza del sol is hard to locate. Be aware that Prada stop gets busy - it is also where the buses end their route or take a break, so you may wait for a bus only to find after letting passengers off it is stopping service.

The queue-jumping worked pefectly.
Inside, many rooms were very crowded, and having left one room by entering the next, it was not possible to go back-I was reprimanded for attempting it.

The buses run very frequently we never waited more than a few mins. We also didn't need to print out our tickets as we were told to, they just scanned them on board. We were not out early enough to do the walking tour at 11 am. But we were able to do both 1 and 2 routes on our ticket. The headphone sockets did not all work but you could share one set between 2 of you. Remember to take something warm to wear, it gets quite cold on the top. Great experience and good value for money.
