The castle is a great place to visit with it's structure, history and view of Lisbon. Everything is well marked. I highly recommend a visit.

The experience is not to be missed. The castle is in very good condition. The tour is super enjoyable. The views of the city incredible. Highly recommended.

The whole tour itself included a very interesting dance performance, the costumes, the steps and the music. The view is really the best in Lisbon, the museum is very good and the peacocks are a surprise gift in themselves

Attraction was fascinating. It would have been nice to know, in advance, that we would not have to stand in line in the queue. We waited 1/2 hour before a passing employee mentioned we could just head up to the entrance.

Having bought the ticket ahead of the visit is best idea as there was a huge lineup to purchase tickets when we got there

The view was outstanding but lacking access to the audio guide limited my exposure to the history of the place beyond what I read in the museum there. The ramparts were crowded as probably expected and a bit challenging as some people ignored the up and down stairway designations.

The queue was long waiting for tickets so i booked online and went in straight in. Loved the dancing and music as we entered of the traditional dancers and reenactment of olden times. It was a peaceful walk and excellent audio that we could listen to. Amazing views of Lisbon and definitely value for money. Also the kiosks and sit down areas added to the beauty of the castle. Maybe a sign saying you could book online might be beneficial to escape lining up.

The castle was absolutely breath taking. We typically spend 1-2 hrs max at any attraction and we ended up at the castle all day. The restaurant was also superb. Had a little cocktail overlooking the city after exploring a quarter of the castle and stopped for some wine and oysters before we left. Even when leaving ended up spending another hour enjoying the archeological site. Too amazing for words to convey. 1147 is all we could say!

They main values of our visit were the views and the general state of the ruins. There isn't a great deal to see within the castle (the peacocks were most interesting). Our headout experience was ok. Once we figured out that we COULD us the app and HOW to use it, we saved time and moved smoothly. There was no notice that online ticketing was available....we spent 20 minutes waiting for the ticket entrance before realizing we could explore an online option. The interface was a little confusing.

Very interesting and informative experience. Enjoyed the history, relics and displays. The views are spectacular, very impressive - and the peacocks were a bonus, didn't expect to see and hear them. Very pleasant experience. Thank you.

Liked the ability to buy ticket online, quick entry to the site, the easy access to all parts of the castle, clean washrooms, signage. Did NOT like that I couldn't get seniors' rate online, and entry felt expensive. Some steps without handrails. Gift shop very underwhelming.

The only reason I don't rate it highly is that we missed the plaques telling us more about the history. It would be ideal to have plaques throughout the space, it would make the visit even more surprising.

Totally worth it. Was told that it wasn't worth it but turned out to be great. Spent an hour. Great views. Definitely a workout to move around and go up and down stairs.

View is fantastically beautiful! Ruins nice to see but not fascinating otherwise. I do find the peacocks terribly scary and did not know sat there were so many. They also attacked people

We love sea animals. Everything related to zoo is perfect. Here are the downsides: You can't buy tickets from Oceanarium website for the same day visit. It's simply not possible to choose the same day. I had to go via another website, where you can't buy the tickets for the cable car. The photographers have made photos from me and my family, and we bought the photos for hefty 30eur (ticket for oceanarium is 25eur, and 1 minute work of a rather bad photographer is 30eur), but photos are extremely low quality. Print is bad (colors are unreal), and there's some weird effect to them, we can barely recognise ourselves. And that's a disappointment, it should have been a nice memory. Anyway, we're happy we visited

It was a completely unique experience, unlike any other sites I have visited in other travels as it had three different experiences; museum, castle & archeological site all in one. Additionally, the castle being fully outdoors was very exciting.

Didn't have to wait in line after buying ticket online. The views are amazing. Also liked the museum. Learned about Portuguese history! Walking around on my own was good too.

Beautiful castle and the views out across the city were stunning. We were lucky that there was fog out towards the bridge and the statue of Christ and they were floating on top of the clouds
