Pompeii Skip-the-Line Tickets with a Guidebook

The travel agent 'Tempio' wasn't clearly signed and google map journey didn't relate to the exact location. The ruins were very inspiring and I really enjoyed the experience. Thank you Stephen

Once we found the ticket office, the people there were really nice and helpful. And Pompeii wax beautiful! We did the self guided walking tour. Well worth it, but if you want a more immersive experience, pay the 8 euros for the audio companion. WARNING: If you are picking up tickets at Pompeii Ticket office, just know that Siri (for IPhone, don't know about the others) will tell you the restaurant across from the entrance is the 'arrived' point. Go ahead and drive down and park, when you are walking back towards the entrance to Pompeii, you will see the Ticket office on the right about halfway. Enjoy!

The Pompeii site is huge and very impressive. The voucher exchange system in the station was a bit chaotic in the office but once i saw someone they spoke good english and were very efficient.

Skipping the line made it so quick and easy to get in. Pompeii was great to be able to walk the streets and get a feel for life 2000 years ago

Everything was awesome and memorable..so large archaeological place and all the exhibits were held in such a good condition!!

No skip-the-line tickets were needed. The normal ticket office was empty. The guidebook is only moderately accurate. Numbers in the book do not match those on the map. Numerous spelling mistakes.

We purchased skip the line tickets and were running late by over half an hour due to traffic. We had no issues collecting our tickets, staff were informative and understanding via WhatsApp and in person

We arrived early and were surprised how easy it was to confirm our tickets. The visit to Pompei was amazing despite the rain.

The Pompeii experience was amazing! The meeting location adjacent to the train station was super easy to find. Selecting the in-person guide option to help us navigate Pompeii was the best idea! His English was perfect, easy to understand, and follow. Also, the earpiece was helpful to avoid confusion along the path with other tours. Definitely would recommend your services to others.

Best decision ever was upgrading to the guided tour option. I'd have been completely lost going around the site otherwise. What an amazing experience! Guide was friendly and informative, showing us all the highlights. Would highly recommend especially if you're on a tight schedule with only a couple of hours to spare. We left feeling like we had seen the most important parts.

The tour book was beautifully done and very helpful in getting around as was the map. Being able to skip the line was amazing as even getting there early the line was quite long.

Pompeii was everything and more than I expected it to be. Despite the train in to Pompeii Scavi station being packed (from Naples), being able to find the ticket collection point was really quick and easy (within the upper floor of the train station). They gave us the tickets and the guides and we were able to jump any queues forming early in the day. The guide provided was excellent to help direct around all the key locations and provide explanations and pictures of 89 different landmarks. Most of these were labelled on the buildings, but the provided map helped located most of these. Please note that a couple of the marked locations needed additional tickets purchased to access. The guide gave suggested routes to follow depending on the amount of time you planned to stay in Pompeii. My partner and I visited all but a couple of the landmarks and was in the park for just over 6 hours - please note again that certain houses/landmarks are open/closed on certain days so you will not be able to access all of them on the 1 day. One additonal thing to add in this reveiw - there is only 1 resturant and it was very busy during lunch hours with limited seating. We did not need to eat during our time in Pompeii, but worth taking in your own picnic/lunch to eat around the park. There is also limited toilet facilities as well (1 in main resturant that was 40 minutes wait and a 2nd near the 'little theatre' with no wait).

The directions to collect tickets were unclear and the link to Google maps did not work. Once inside everything was fine.

Our visit to Pompeii was good and memorable, no guided tour was ordered, we just lived through the historical memories. One thing to mention is the visit time indicated on skip-the-line tickets: actually there is no time requirement, one just gets the ticket and goes in. In general - good experience, thank you.

We booked a ticket to Pompei with a guide book and when we got there they asked if we wanted to join a group with a guide, so we did. Im so glad we did, the guide spoke great english (Eraldo) and explained so much, answering any questions. Basically the guide made the experience fantastic. We were with the guide for about 2 hours and then we were able to look around on our own and visit the museum section (I forget what they called it). There are a couple of restaurants with toilet facilities you can use too which is great.

Despite the constant rain, this was an enjoyable and informative trip to Pompeii. Our guide provided some excellent insights. The arrival/ticket/access process once we stepped off the train was more than a little chaotic, but despite that I would recommend this one.

We were lucky that even though we got there half an hour after we were supposed to enter Pompeii (due to public transport confusion) they still let us in! Pompeii was absolutely amazing, the book they give you has a wealth of information so even though we didn't have a guide we still knew what the buildings were. A note about the tickets in general: you can't get back in even on the same day if you leave the site, so keep this in mind!
