The Baths of Caracalla are another example of an amazing feat of architecture left to us by the Romans! And an oasis of tranquility to view everything at your leisure. Especially compared to the Colosseum or the Fora.
In terms of information I found the signs brief. Even without a guide you should be able to get a good picture. Therefore, I definitely recommend going with a guide.
