Player Kings

The performances were memorable-Sir Ian McKellen was outstanding. It was such a treat to be able to see someone of his talent performing on stage. Although I was sitting in the back row at the top section, the theater and performances still felt close and intimate. What a fun night!

Shakespeare - adapted and all, it was the bard and memorable. Good acting also. I appreciated taking away the book with the script, read in the airport and plane, worth it.

Even thought my seat wasn't the best for the type of play, I enjoyed every second of it. I was a bit bummed that Sir Ian mckellen wasn't performing but his understudy did a wonderful job! I also enjoyed the pick up service for the intermission snack

Ian McKellen was absolutely phenomenal as Falstaff, and Toheeb Jimoh was amazing as the prince. The entire show was so well executed.

Mckellen! He truly resonated in his part! Weren't allowed to take any photos? Very disappointed in that aspect. Still the play was memorable.

The outstanding performance was by Sir Ian Mckellan who is amazing for his age. We were disappointed by head out who when asked to change our booking time to another day with the same dollar cost and plenty of seat available at the time refused to do it for us.

Ian McKellen and the cast were brilliant. Thanks to Charlotte at the ticket window who upgraded our tickets. The welcoming charm of the place was much appreciated. Thanks for a delightful experience.

A really good show. It drug on a little at the end, but that was also possibly the very large man sitting next to me laughing uncomfortably loud with his elbow in my lap for the entire performance.

The actors were all exceptional, the play was brilliant, the theater was magnificent and the staff were smiling and welcoming - a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you

I remember seeing Ian McKellen as a teenager when he played at the other place in Stratford. Tuesday I went to see him with 3 friends - all now in our sixties. It was like drinking from a good aged wine to see him again on stage - so rich, so subtle and surrounded by such a great cast.

All the actors were brilliant but Sir Ian stood out. What a legend! I haven't seen Henry 1V Parts 1 and 2 before so glad I could get the opportunity with such a fine cast.

Ian McKellan was fantastic as Flastaff ...hilarious..will be a lifelong g memory as one of the best performances I have ever seen!!!

The entire production was excellent. Could grasp the idea that Prince Hal was sowing his wild oats without the cut away undies.

We had good seats. The stage/set was deceptively simple, but really impressed us. The actors were excellent performers!

The performance, despite the fact that we were in the last row of the grand circle and leg room was really tight.
