Pompeii Tickets + Campania Express Naples to/from Pompeii

It has been incredible I did not imagine it would be so big, I have probably left places without seeing pirque is very large and it is easy to get lost if you do not go looking at the map, I missed to see the people who found them 🥺.

My husband and I had a wonderful time exploring Pompeii! The ticket directions worked perfectly and we were easily able to find our way to redeem the tickets at the ticket desk. If you're like us and like to stop and look at every little thing historic places have to offer - I highly recommend being there as early as possible to take full advantage.

The site is beautiful, well-maintained and clean. It's a shame you have to go out the same door to collect your ID card when returning the audio guides.

Pompeii is a breathtaking city, much bigger than I imagined but absolutely spectacular. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and see a lot of history in the open air, just like anywhere else in Italy. As far as buying tickets is concerned, it's very simple and easy, but I suggest that you buy them online and get a voucher or QRCODE to enter the park directly, without having to go to a ticket counter.

We bought tickets online so we wouldn't have to queue. But when we arrived at Pompei, we had to transform our digital tickets and queue like everyone else who didn't have tickets! So there's no point in buying wire-cut tickets. But for the audioguide. It was perfect.

Despite the instructions, given the number of tourists, it was difficult to find my way around. The information sheet at the ticket office for the entrance to Pompeii was a great help. The 3d glasses at the herculaneum were brilliant

Points for improvement:No headphones with the audio guide, so hands were cramped when taking photos, and the queue-cutting ticket could be used at a different entrance from where the audio guide was collected.

Ticketing was a breese and our driver, Mauro was outstanding. He provided very interesting information about the area. Additionally we stopped at a lovey vineyard with a tasty lunch . The wines were delish!

Although I knew that the voucher didn't give access, this form of entry to Pompeii isn't practical, because it doesn't eliminate the queues. When I arrived at the site, I had to queue to collect my ticket and it wasn't clear which queue I was supposed to be in. There was no Headout sign anywhere, this needs to be improved and made more intuitive and less problematic.

It was easy to pick up our audio guides (no lines) and get in with our tickets (again, no lines). Really enjoyed our experience!

It was what I expected. We had a hard time finding the place to exchange the tickets and it was difficult to know how to get from Pompeii to Herculaneum because we had to go back to Naps to take a new train to Herculaneum.

The only problem that we faced was that we had to deliver the audio guides at the same entrance. This was not easy for as since we wanted to leave from a different exit. This was not mentioned in your side in order to choose if we agreed to it and organise our time accordingly.

I was impressed with everything, although I have seen many reports, it is not the same, very clean and very good attention from the staff, thank you very much.

I wasn't expecting that I must wait again to redeem the tickets paid online so we waited the same amount of time as the people who bought their tickets at the entrance ticket station in the very same day.

Audio guide constantly interrupted! When it restarted, you had to go back to the beginning. Not great. Obligation to return the audio guide to the place where you picked it up, so you have to redo the whole huge site in the opposite direction to return it. Exhausting and impractical!

I would prefer to get a real ticket with a QR code to be really sure that I will directly be able to enter. In the end everything worked well, but I worried and had to ask locally several times where to get the tickets... A more transparent and clear communication would help, like: 1.) You will purchase/purchased a VOUCHER. 2.) Just go directly (skip the line) to any entrance ticket gate, show the voucher/teservation number, and get your ticket... .... KR Silke

Pompeii was a fascinating journey back in time! The vastness of the site offered a ton to explore, with plenty of walking and learning along the way. While the crowds were smaller arriving later in the day, it also meant less time to soak it all in. Tip for future explorers: try to get there earlier for a more comprehensive visit. Using the Headout app to book my ticket was fantastic. The process was simple and straightforward, making the whole experience stress-free. Huge plus for Headout! I'll definitely be using them again when I return to explore more of Pompeii.

The directions on the ticket were clear enough until it was time to get into the various entrance lanes. It wasn't easy to know which line to choose. So we were turned away when we got to the ticket office, even though we'd already been in the first long queue. The lady directing the queues (at the end, not at the beginning where it would have made sense) wasn't very nice. After negotiations, the man at the counter "accepted" us. Unfortunately, he converted my Pompei Plus voucher into a Pompei express. Which I didn't notice until much later, when I wanted to visit the Villa des Mystères.

A fan of volcanoes, I came to Naples mainly for Vesuvius and the Phlegrean Fields! The pick-up from the agency and the shuttle service were excellent! I would have liked to have stayed longer and had a guide, too bad!

It was a fascinating experience. I loved seeing the ruins, finding out how the people lived back then, and just learning about the history. It was very surreal seeing the casts, but interesting too. I also loved that there were cats dotted around the place, and the wildflowers growing all through the ruins.
