It's easy to get on a train without a reservation. Free ferry to miyajima, free access to some buses and subways.

Convenience of it! It is relatively expensive if not fully used all days - would be nice to have the option of non-consecutive day packages and ability to combine with other metro/subway companies in Tokyo
