This is a must! Don't wait in lines, get all the history, and with an amazing tour guide. Highly recommend as an easy way to experience an incredible palace.

The zoo was amazing and we only had a flying visit. It was a shame the Pandas were not there but to see the polar bears, elephants, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, penguins and all manner of other animals. It was a great surprise having originally gone to see the Christmas markets at Schönbrunn Palace. Brilliant day out, thank you.

The Panda exhibit was closed and the main reason for my trip. The service was convenient and venue was delightful aside from the main attraction ghosting it.

Alex had a calm and ckear voice. Gathered the group very carefully every time. He showed his love for the venue Schönbrunn and made us aware of its beaty and its curses. Thank you Alex !!

The Zoo was well layed out and the staf was friendly, however the animals was not really on show as the weather was cold and also they advertise Panda'a which was not there with their enclosure being worked on.

I’ve been on five tours so far, and I can confidently say that Michael S. is the best tour guide I’ve ever had. His passion and energy bring the stories of Schönbrunn to life in a way that’s truly captivating. He isn’t just reciting dull facts or rattling off history; he delivers each story with a theatrical flair, making it feel like you’re stepping right into the past. His storytelling skills are exceptional, keeping the tour engaging and entertaining from start to finish. If you’re looking for a guide who can make history exciting and memorable, Michael S. is the one to choose. This was far from the usual boring tour—it was an unforgettable experience!

We had a very knowledgeable tour guide Michael S. He was very good and answered questions. The palace was amazing so beautiful and stunning architecture. Well worth a visit and so easy to use the metro to get there from vienna city centre.

Historic zoo. Third visit for us. A fine collection of animals, but the cages aren't necessarily up to today's standards. And above all, a huge disappointment: the absence of the pandas, whose enclosure is under construction!

Nothing special. Having troubble seeing animals in the sense that they were nowhere to be seen. The path and the cages are not designed to see animals in their habitat. Except a few specimens where you can have an overview of the cage , the rest were hidden. It seemed that there were more giftshops and restaurants than animals to see. Overall it was ok but nothing special.

We were in Schönbrunn on November 2nd, the zoo was full to bursting as it was still the fall vacations and unfortunately almost none of the restaurants were open! Beer garden closed, stand near the penguins closed, dismantled, stand near the main entrance coming from the palace closed, cleaned up. There were only 2 stands open, 1 pretzel stand and 1 stand where crowds of people were queuing. Or you could go to the restaurant. We then went to the Tiroler Haus restaurant, very unfriendly, prices horrendous and nothing on the plate. I'm not surprised why the families bring everything themselves. And as an Austrian, you are actually 2nd class, they only look at foreigners. Apart from that, we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, a lot of the attractions were closed due to renovation work and we will definitely be back next year.

We loved the giraffe ❤️ the monkeys were super cute, the penguins, the coalas, the flamingos... We loved that we can encounter with some of the animals! But unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the pandas. Hope that they will come back soon.

The tour guide had to improvise a lot, sometimes not entirely serious anecdotes could not be distinguished from information. On the positive side, he made a recognizable attempt to give a comprehensible, individual classification of the historical events, but sometimes threw people around so quickly that it was almost impossible to follow. This was partly due to the fact that there was no time slot for the tour of the castle. Although we were asked at the beginning whether we wanted to go to the palace or the garden first, the decision in favor of the palace meant that we had to "squeeze in" and then on the one hand there was idle time and on the other hand rooms were spontaneously left out "Quote: There are too many people, we'll go to the Great Room first and do it later" - there was no later. The garden tour was then much more relaxed and very interesting

The device only worked in the immediate vicinity of the Guid and woe betide the visitor when the Guid turned around. Then the reception was 90% gone (not only for me). Even repeated reminders to the Guid to hold the device properly by the mouth only helped to a limited extent.

It was a good overall view of the palace if you dont have a lot of time (more then 3 hrs) to explore on your own. It wasnt a wow though, finding the tour was not easy (no clear signs of where to go) ans you reallt just see the basics of the palace and a portion of the gardens.
