The Széchenyi Thermal Baths are a real gem of Budapest and an unmissable experience for anyone visiting the city. The grandeur of its neo-baroque architecture combined with the relaxing experience of the thermal waters makes this place an oasis in the heart of the Hungarian capital.
The sensation of diving into the outdoor pools, especially on a cold day, is simply unforgettable. The contrast between the steam rising from the warm waters and the beauty of the yellow building creates an almost magical atmosphere. In addition, the various options of thermal pools, saunas and Turkish baths make every moment there a true wellness experience.
The staff at the Széchenyi Thermal Baths deserve high praise for their professionalism and dedication to maintaining an impeccable experience for visitors. From reception, where they are efficient and organized even with the large influx of tourists, to the maintenance and cleaning staff, who ensure that all areas are always in excellent condition.

It's a must-see in Budapest, but frankly the price is outrageous, the site needs a good renovation and there should be more regulation of the number of people on site, because as it is, you're stepping on yourself. What a shame!

Tickets cost less with Headout. On the other hand, when it comes to entry with lockers, there really aren't any cabins compared with the Gellért thermal baths, where a few (public) ones are available. So you have to change in plain sight, or in the toilets. Men and women are supposed to be separated, but this isn't always the case... The water smelled of chemicals and the outside bath, although very nice, was quite dirty at the bottom. On the other hand, the thermal baths are very large and diversified, so we had a good time in spite of everything. The outdoor bath is a real highlight!

It was fun... it was a really really cold day so swimming in heated outdoor baths was lots of fun...
We lasted about two hours... by that time we were pretty done with the whole experience but it was good.
Lockers etc were great and worked perfectly.

Insufficient signposting to the site, a lot of confusion when entering the spa and in the changing rooms there is no privacy even in the places marked for women and men only. The staff make no effort to give correct directions and are unfriendly. They don't give you towels to access the spa. The experience of buying tickets with the company was very good, but I wouldn't go there again.

I had tried to do the tickets online but the site never uploaded the confirmation, so I went to the place with my husband and we made new tickets, the thermal bath is a bit scruffy, mold in some places on the walls the indoor pools with water quite dirty in some pools, the cabin to undress very very small, cmq beautiful the outdoor pool, I did not like the fact that if you have to rent a towel it costs more than what it costs to buy it new, we were informed of this and we brought it from home, finally back in Italy, I saw that they had charged me the cost of 2 tickets for 62 euros online those I had failed to confirm before paying even in presence... I opened a complaint with paypal and I hope I will be refunded

We booked Széchenyi bath and River cruise from head out. We went to Budapest in January and it was great experience at Széchenyi baths. Outdoor pool was +38 degrees and was really relaxing in Cold. There is plenty of pools and saunas indoors.
River cruise was lovely, we enjoyed having a pint of beer while enjoying beautiful Budapest.

Singular experience that I suggest doing during the winter time.
Personally, I found myself under the snowflakes at a very low temperature (1°), but it will be this detail that will make my experience unforgettable in time.

Headout made everything very easy! Széchenyi is an amazing bath that I will return to! Be sure to check out the nude sauna, it feels great!

The place deserves to be known but it was overcrowded. It should be managed differently with a 3 hour shift, for example, and less people.
It was overwhelming to get into the water and rubbing up against everyone. And a hat should be required, nobody wears one and with so many people it's a bit unhygienic.

The experience was wonderful, both the bus and the spa, but don't forget your towel when you go to the Szechenyi spa and your flip flops. They don't rent them and flip flops are mandatory! They charged us 12€ for the flip flops and 20€ for the towel!!!!!

It was amusing the whole day . However the website is confusing about informations . Should say clearly that slippers compulsory but available to buy in the shop , swimming hat only compulsory at the sport pool , towels and robes should be awailable to rent . Other than that 5 star 🌟

the comfort of the boat, the atmosphere and the conditions... the only downside is that you have to wait too long on the street in the cold for boarding

Very nice and pleasant experience; the facility would need a makeover ( I noticed that in some areas it has already started); too bad it didn't snow; recommended experience

A bit confusing to get to the changing rooms and the people aren't very helpful. Otherwise, everything was very pleasant.

Spa was nice. Unfortunately I was not informed that there were renovations going on. Two pools were closed because of this. They charged me 40€ for a pair of flipflops and swimming trunks and to top it off, no massages were available. So yes, the spa was nice, but it fell ahort of expectations
