Paris Evening Sightseeing Tour with Eiffel Tower Summit Tickets

The service was good, the meeting point was well indicated. Qualified staff. The Eiffel Tower experience was sensational. The bus tour not so good, Paris is very busy with the preparations for the Olympics.

Both excursions were very well accompanied. The tour guides were very friendly and thoughtful. The Eiffel Tower at night was a fantastic experience.

The event was sold as a city tour and a visit to the summit of the Eiffel Tower between 7 and 10pm. The city tour finished at 8.30pm when we were told that our tickets for the Eiffel Tower visit would commence at 10pm, so we had to wait for 1 1/2 hours before we could start. The Eiffel Tower visit finished at midnight, much later than expected. We were not given a reason why out Eiffel Tower tour was delayed which was disappointing and showed poor planning to not have the correctly timed tickets available.

The tour guides on site did their best to save the day. However, the tour's facility is in no way justified for the price and is actually a rip-off. The handling of the audio guide is a cheek and distracts you more from the sights than it allows for a sightseeing tour. If anything, we covered half of the sights and the traffic was as usual according to the driver - which is more than well known in Paris. Why the tour was not adjusted accordingly is a mystery to us and poorly planned. However, the fact that there was an hour between the tour and the visit to the Eiffel Tower was not described anywhere and was also not planned by all the participants, as everyone wanted to experience the magical moment of the sunset on the Eiffel Tower and of course did not want to take a break of 1 hour on a tour advertised for 3 hours. However, the fact that we were forced to do this and were not informed of this in advance is absolutely cheeky and unjustified. I would not recommend you as a provider to anyone and experienced it as a rip-off, which unfortunately was in no way worth the money. Our Eiffel Tower tickets were priced at around €30-40, so we wondered what the rest of the money was for. Perhaps for this poor sightseeing tour, which wasn't even provided in full and where there was neither a guided tour nor a functioning audio guide? After all, we paid just under €100 per person. What a pity, but unfortunately it was in no way as advertised in the description and not only will I not communicate this, but also other affected guests on the net.

The bus tour was a disaster, not all the sights were visited, the trip was just too short and it was supposed to be a 3 hour tour but no one informed us of an hour break. The audioguide kept crashing and no communication from the guide. The bottom line is that the price for this tour is justified

The information on the experience said it was 3 hours. We booked for 7PM and interpreted 3 hours to mean that we would be done by 10PM. We had tickets to the Moulin Rouge for 11:30PM and felt that 90 minutes between the 2 events would be ample time. When we were done with the bus portion of the tour absolutely NO direction was given as to what do do next for the Eiffel Tower summit portion. We went back to the meeting point and spoke to the guide, who did not have us on his list. He informed us that we must be in the 9:45 group. We asked him how we could possibly be done by 10PM in that case, and he told us we should plan for 90 minutes for the summit portion of the experience. This was completely unexpected so we asked if we could possibly reschedule for the next night. He told us we'd have to talk to our guide at 9:45. Therefore we had an hour and fifteen minutes to wait between portions of the experience. When Sebastian arrived at the meeting point he did everything he could to attempt to help us and was the ONLY redeeming part of the entire disappointing experience. He convinced us to at least try to go to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower since we were there and he could not guarantee that we'd be able to go the following day. During this time my travel companion was texting with the company to try and find a reasonable alternative solution. We paid over 100 Euros for this experience and it was absolutely not as advertised. It should say to plan for 5 hours at least. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company because I feel that it is unfair to pay for an experience that we didn't actually have. Please know that Sebastian is absolutely amazing, handled the whole thing with incredible kindness and grace and is truly customer oriented.
