Miramare is just beautiful. I have really wanted to see this castle for some years and when the opportunity came up to go to Trieste, this was on the top of my list. The HopIt Bus and Miramare ticket made it easy to get there and see the castle. My advice is that it takes an hour to get there on the HopIt Bus and you then have a 20-30 minute walk from the drop off point, so take that into consideration when booking your tour time for the castle.

With the tickets we booked online, we got in straight away without having to wait at the ticket office in the castle. Everything worked really well. The castle itself is a beautiful place, located directly on the lakeshore. The rooms and the exhibition are impressive. It was definitely worth a visit.

Everyone was friendly, despite the 35-38 degrees. It is a special place, you can feel it on the spot. I loved the arbor, the whole garden is special, even today... Unforgettable memory for my wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law🇮🇪☀️⚓️❣️

The museum itself (the inside of castle), is okay, nothing that you didn't already see somewhere else in some other castle, BUT, the castle itself (outside), the views, gardens, everything around is just wow, mesmerising. We had no problems with tickets, we didn't have to wait or anything!

Beautifully arranged furniture, fine art and tapestry. I could imagine how life more than a hundred years must have been. With the audio guide you could choose your own tempo instead of trotting in a huge flock after a guide. Unfortunately the fountains in the castle garden were off, this would be the cherry on top.

spectacular Miramare Castle because of its enviable location. Great reservation that made us skip the queue even though at the entrance the QR code of the ticket was not read by the device, but they let us in anyway. Very disappointing was the shuttle service for visiting the park; 6 euros to be transported in a really uncomfortable way and with 15 minutes we were shown a tiny part of the 22 hectares of park in passing.

The strategic location of the castle, the lights and reflections of the sea combined with the beautiful super manicured gardens make for a wonderful experience

We were so glad we bought our tickets in advance. We were to skip the very long line and enter right away. The castle is amazing, the setting, the buildings, the exhibits, the gardens. We only had one day in Trieste off the cruise ship and were so glad we chose to come to the castle.

Trieste è molto molto bella e vale bene un soggiorno per visitarla, per me davvero una piacevole sorpresa. Il bus turistico sali e scendi è molto comodo perché dà la possibilità di scendere ad ogni fermata x visitare qualche cosa che ci interessa nei dintorni per poi risalire per riprendere il tour. Logicamente la cosa va organizzata bene e i mezzi devono essere frequenti e avere anche posti liberi x coloro che vogliono risalire, cosa che nel nostro caso purtroppo non sempre si è verificata. Per il resto buona la gestione degli ospiti e validi gli accompagnatori, gentili e disponibili. Bella la visita al castello di Miramare, l'interno è un pezzo di storia che vale la pena di conoscere, sarebbe ancora migliore se ci fossero delle guide che ti raccontano di persona ciò che stai vedendo. Splendido poi il parco che circonda il castello, da visitare sicuramente. Più che soddisfatto!

It is excellent solution to buy tickets in advance considering the long entrance queues. Romantic and refined place in perfect harmony with the overlooking sea. Must see!
