I expected to visit the mosque completely and not seen from the 1 second floor terrace. My wife who was going back there after 27 years at Santa sofia was disappointed, she said she would not have bought tickets if this was specified before buying tickets. I can understand that the faithful pray from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. But can you make a walkway for foreigners as well because surely seen from below it has another value. Thank you

I loved the incredible history and very detailed audio guide that was provided. The free roaming of the upper gallery really gave time to enjoy the architecture and artwork.

Headout available if needed.
A pleasant visit, but please note that the first floor is reserved for Muslims. You'll only have access to the upper floor.
But you can't go to Istanbul without visiting Saint Sophia!

The tour to the Santa Sofía mosque was fantastic! Well organized from the ease of buying the ticket, to downloading the ticket to the smartphone, the audio guide in Italian.....

I was the first one in at 9am! Too bad you can't go all the way down for the money! That would give you an even better idea of the actual size of the dome!

Almost everything was very good, the only problem we had was that the headphones gave small electric shocks so it was uncomfortable to use them at times.

The experience ws ok, but audio wasn't as informative as Hop-On Hop-Off tours I have done in other cities. No anecdotal commentary on the country's culture and people. No announcements for "get off here to see X, Y, Z", etc.

Everything went smoothly from booking to the experience. We always try to do the Hop-on Hop-off bus in every new city to get an overview. Istanbul did not disappoint.

Good to have transcript of audio guide because we didn't bring a headset. Guide length is just nice.
It was unclear where to go with the ticket so perhaps an extra direction to just go straight to the line would be nice.

I liked the visit but I do not understand how we were not allowed to be on the first floor. I do not think it is fair and it is not explained when buying the ticket.
