From London: Half-Day Tour to Windsor Castle

The tour so well organised. Our bus driver, Elvis, was very informative, funny and friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable.

They waited for us because we couldn't find the bus station at first. We were introduced to the history of windsor castle in a patient, friendly and super great and detailed way. Great tips, time enough. Unforgettable, thank you!

We had a wonderful time and the half day trip to Windsor Castle was defenitley worth it! If you are thinking about going, do it! Our guide Ava and driver Trisha were excellent! The bus was very nice and clean, and pick up was a breeze. There was plenty of room on the bus as the entire group size ended up only being about 20 people, which was nice! Trisha was an excellent driver and very nice! Ava was fantastic and talked about some of the history of the castle and royalty on the ride up. Ava walked us up to the castle and gave us our wristbands for entry. She gave great instructions on how to get back to the bus after as well. After going through quick security, We got there just in time to see the changing of the guard. We had plenty of time to see the State Apartments & St.George Chapel (we skipped the dollhouse) & then grabbed some coffee and did some shopping before heading back to the bus. Only a few times/rooms throughout the tour did it feel busy/crowded, so it was nice to take our time and see everything without having to wait on people/room to move around. We were dropped back off at our pickup point after. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting London and has never been to Windsor before.

We enjoyed the chapel and the apartments that showed the paintings of eras gone by. We enjoyed the sense of history throughout this castle. I was happy I went through St George Chspel and saw where Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest along with her husband Prince Philip.

I wish we knew in advance that we couldn't take photos inside. And you don't actually go to the Castle. But it was still amazing. I did feel rushed. We didn't have time to go to the Doll House.

Everything ! Picked up on time Super clean comfy coach And a lovely chatty driver and guide Timed arrival well so we seen the changing of the guards which was a bonus I personally could have done another hour at the castle as didn't have time to see anything else as it was very busy and long queues but we seen the important stuff

I wanted to spend full day at castle to deeply go thru everything but it was too short ie started at 14:20 n by 17:00 we had to reach the coach station. In that way it's very expensive your, the prices can be reduced further

Ticketing was fine. Venue was great. A full day Windsor specific tour would be better than the half day to provide more time to explore.

The tour itself was amazing - Windsor castle is beautiful The problem was the lack of communication from the tour bus driver - he sprinted off to the entrance, then he failed to announce the gathering time to the entire group which left many in the group confused

On time, everything went smoothly... the coach is beautiful and clean, staff explained about the tour and history... We enjoyed our half-day tour...

As we got a late start due to waiting for others who were late, I would have appreciated extra time at Windsor castle. We were left with 2 hours (11a-1p) to get in, see everything, and get get back to the bus as a family. This left us no time to eat during the lunch hour (we had 3 kids with us) and not enough time to see everything we wanted to see. Otherwise the tour was great, although when I booked a guided tour I assumed the guide would be with us in the castle, but I'm not upset about not having this.

Our guide, Nick & driver Errol were exceptional. Nick with his bad jokes & Errol with his terrific driving, especially through London traffic. Nick kept us up to date with what was happening during the trip & we were ushered through our ticketing programme effortlessly. The day was wonderful & we would have gone on more tours if we had more time in the country.

Windsor was beautiful. The booking experience was confusing. I had to call to get my tickets. Also, while the tour guide was very nice, I felt that perhaps she was inappropriately dressed for work. Finally, the tour of St. George's chapel was disappointing. We were herded by Elizabeth II's burial place very quickly. I barely caught a glimpse of it.

We enjoyed seeing the castle, St George's Chapel, and the doll house. our guide was very knowledgeable and informative about the castle and life in London in general. The problem was the time available to see all 3 was insufficient because of the number of people trying to get into the same small areas. Because of the concern of being left behind if we didn't get back to the bus, we basically had no time to stop and look at anything in the apartments section of the castle. We just had to walk through and glance around as we made our way to the bus. Then when we returned to the bus we waited for over 30 minutes for passengers that decided to stay and take a train back to London so they could have time to see the castle.

Very well organized departure and return, very punctual! We toured everything and had plenty of time for lunch. The guide was very kind and attentive.

Yes, excellent. Eva the coordinator was a genius. She explained very well without exhausting us. And then we did a free tour of the castle.

The visit to Windsor castle was very positive and I recommend it to my friends and acquaintances

The tour we took was over priced for what we received. We should have organised our own tickets and transport.
