Milford Sound Cruise

It was good sailing and good commentary. But actually the weather was perfect, that's why it was so amazing. It was really rainy and you could experience the very rare phenomenon of Milford sound! The crew was very nice and gentle too!

The captain made the trip more fun and enjoyable.

Atmospehere of the place and the excellnet commentary by the pilot. PERHaps better signage in the car parks to guide you to the terminal.

The cruise was advertised to go for 2 hours. The vessel was birthed back in after 1:50. Ok... that is just 8.3% you might say. But will you accept my booking for $136.63 next time instead of $149? I seriously doubt that.

Amazing scenery. Great narrative from the captain. Coffee was amazing out of this world Great weather. Finding the terminal was very easy. All personnel was very courteous

We had the most amazing weather to begin with. Plus the crew and the boat captain (doing the commentary/speaking) was so fun it made the experience even better! 💯 recommend it!

The scenery is always wonderful so as it rained the day before and there were more waterfalls our visit was extra special. Our guest who was concerned about getting sea sick had no trouble due to the care of the boat captain in handling the vessel. Booking was easy enough. Two things we could see improved was the commentary- please no children's television presenter style and tired script. Keep it straightforward and tell us information. It is a wee walk back to a cafe by the parking to get something to eat so a coffee cart with some food at the terminal would be appreciated. In my opinion there is room for more informative displays in the terminal as you wait but the scene of the boats lined up is great.

The whole experience was amazing. The commentary, the scenery, the waterfalls and the staff on the boat were lovely. It was something I will never forget

The lovely Sophie at reception desk assisted us in getting on an early boat, perfect to get to our next destination on time, thank you Sophie. The cruise captain and all the staff were sensational so lovely to talk to and friendly. The captain gave a fantastic and informative experience, thank you to the gentlemen who took photos of my husband and I i didn't get your name but made our day. Milford sound is like being on another planet the views and experience was breathtaking we had absolutely perfect weather so the Gods were in our favour. Thank you again to the crew and your boat she is a beauty. Drinks and food on board was lovely and warm cannot rate this highly enough "Just do it" BRILLIANT. 👏👏❤️

The commentary was great, enjoyed the views of course. The only negative was not a lot of variety in food. Buffet too expensive.

Everything found quickly on arrival. Parking lot can be paid for with app (extension option) or directly Walk to the ship max 15min. Well organized, punctual departure. Sufficient seats to choose from, sun deck without seats. Overall great experience. Unfortunately no information in German

The scenery from the boat was amazing. We sat outside on top deck for the whole time. Great experience. One of the highlights of our first New Zealand holiday.

Check in and procedure smooth. Friendly staff. Explanations during the boat trip were interesting, entertaining and humorous, not run down.

We booked our tickets at a very last minute after considering our timing and comparing with other operators. The booking was smooth and easy. The crews were friendly and very attentive to the safety of the passengers. The information provided along the journey was also useful and funny too. All in all, we had so much fun and the experience of Milford Sound Cruise was memorable and the view was spectacular.

The tour was nice because of the weather. We have booked a two hour tour but in reality it lasted just one and a half. This is a disappointment. We can't recommend this tour

The trip was on a very good ship, the crew was very helpful and the captain was a true professional - he went to exciting places, e.g. to a seal colony and next to a waterfall

The boat trip was great. The cost of car parking is a disgrace and to top that the company have sent us a fine in the post stating the we did not pay. But we did pay $32. We will not be returning.

This was so much fun. Easy to book through Headout. They were very clear on where we checked in and what time. They sent us lots of reminders. The Milford Sound Cruise was awesome. It was a misty, drizzly day, so didn't get to see Mitre Peak, but we got up close to lots of waterfalls and seals. The scenery is just stunning - and I'm saying this as a New Zealander.

The service and commentary was really great and we went so close to the waterfall it felt like I was standing under it- an unforgettable experience!
