Sydney: Horizon of Khufu: Ancient Egypt Immersive VR Experience

I found that we were constantly worried about bumping into people. I have done another virtual experience but it was seated so you could focus on what you were watching, not who you were going to bump into.

Ticketing was simple and straightforward. The VR experience was brilliant! I often experience motion sickness but I was totally fine with the Khufu experience. Loved the history and facts and the zooming in and out at different scales. Never thought I'd be crawling on the floor lol! Was such a delight and so interesting.

The whole "trip" was very realistic with my partner very apprehensive with some steps into the "oblivion" . The tour was facinating but at times when our guide ( whether mona or bestus) was talking about a feature , the feature was hard to locate and therefore some of the imformation was lost Your next comment about adding photos to your review is the one sore point because there is no opporrunity to have a photo record of the "pryamid tour" except infront of an advertising poster in the reception area

The best part of this experience was the sensation of being fully immersed in the Egyptian world. The ticketing and entry experience was confusing and could have informed the participants so much more about what they were about to see

The actual experience was anazing. It flowed well. I did need to have my headset adjusted twice as the vision was blurry but there was someone there ready to help as I raised my hand. I found the venue hard to find though. Better instructions on how to find the venue would have been helpful

Online booking allowed selection of an 'available' date/time and took payment before sending message that selected slot was not available and to choose another. After repeat of 'available' slots not being available, had to contact customer support to fix. The concept is great, and the experience novel and fun but a bit clunky in parts. Visuals not as crisp as I had hoped. Not for those prone to nausea or vertigo.

Loved the whole novelty of it and the experience of immersion. I'm claustrophobic and have a fear of heights but clutching onto my friend , we met the challenges. I'll do it again so I can focus on the actual information of the chirpy virtual guide. Terrific!

I loved how organised the tour was step by step and yiu could go with tour pace. The ticketing experience with Heads pace was excellent.

All good and easy to follow. I guess I could say it was an awesome exhibition though. It is so clever how it was presented. Quite exciting for a person who hasn't visited the country.

The VR show was absolutely out of this world! and I have told a lot of people about it. The purchase of tickets was somewhat stressful. It will come as no surprise to tell you thata my generation at 70+ years doesn't easily handle or cope with demands of latest technology and requirements associated with apps I'm afraid !! Also we booked a specific time and admissions were running 20 mins late,

Was an amazing experience beyond my expectations. A very professional presentation...highly recommended. Unfortunately marketing was very bad re ..couldn't find the site or parking easilyespecially if not used to the area ...no coffee/water station ...no sign post directions ... very disappointing for such a great presentation

It seemed so real, just like being there. I have been to the Valley of the Kings, now I have been to the Pyramids! My 4 Grandchildren loved it too aged 10 to 15.

Ticketing process was good and it was a great experience would maybe like to do it again to take it all in. Even though I kept telling myself that the floor beneath my feet was totally flat it was quite unnerving at times, with platforms & rocks moving away in front of me. Also trying to work out where to move . So well done 👍

Absolutely amazing. By far the best VR experience I've ever had. Please do more - Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, the Aztec ruins - do them all!

The visuals were amazing throughout the experience, and Mona was a great guide as was the feline goddess Bastet. Top notch work on recreating ancient Egypt and Egypt as it is today in comparison. Thank you for the visual spectacle.

the two of us really enjoyed the experience, although not knowing what to expect, we were hesitant about moving out of the blue zones, or stepping onto the boat when the gangplank was retracting ??!!!!

We felt like we were transported back 2600 years to Egypt, while in actuality, we were just probing about inside Fever Pavilion. The VR was super real and the experience amazing, especially the burial ceremony. The ticketing process was fast and easy. The only downside was we went on a Sunday, and the venue was so crowded we always bumped into other people who were with other groups.

Loved the experience Even though I was terrified a few times as normally can't do heights. Loved the technology & innovation
