Very knowledgeable and engaging guide. Quiet visit because it was at the right time, 10:30 am. Huge crowds arrived later and would have been more uncomfortable. Vatican staff very efficient and helpful.

Great tour guide with brilliant subject knowledge. It's a beautiful church. It would have been good to know the tickets don't "skip the line" as it took a 20-30 minute line up in the piazza to get through screening and to meeting place. Limited information from the desk at meeting place other than stand there and we'll call you. The good news was they did and it worked. Trustworthy tour.

The guide made the long line a great experience by giving history about the Vatican. He continued giving great information while I side the Vatican. He was very knowledgeable.

Our guide's knowledge is encyclopedic encompassing not merely Roman sites but their local or foreign origins. Furthermore she has an astonishing grasp of Greek culture and history whether classical or early medieval through 15th century Byzantine. Her remarkable personality captured and maintained the curiosity of four children ~ages 6 to 14 throughout the tour's 3 hours (an uncanny ability). A truly uniquely qualified and astonishing woman. I am very grateful because I did the reservation wrong and I was enrolled in an English group but they very kindly put me in the Spanish group without any problem. The guide was very nice and told us everything very well and I could tell she had experience. Congratulations!

The guide was really great, he knew the history of the basilica inside out and made it really fascinating. However, he didn't take us on a guided tour of the papal tombs. On the other hand, the organization was extremely complicated: we arrived 30 minutes early as requested (so you need to allow time for security checks before arriving at the meeting point), but at the ticket office we were asked to be patient for 20 minutes, and then we were assigned a guide. The principle was strange: we were expecting a group tour, and didn't really know where to turn. That's the only negative point.

Touring and learning about the history. Not knowing exactly where to meet in that very busy place was confusing. Over all a good experience.

Buying tkt very easy on the website. Organized delivery of audios. Guide Katy paid extra attention. She spoke Spanish but always made sure that we (Brazilians) understood what she was explaining.
