Tootbus: London Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour with Optional Evening Bus Tour

It was Ok. Bus drivers are nice. The didn't come as frequent. I would suggest to take the public bus system instead to save money

It was very slow going due to the traffic and so we listened to more music than anything else, although there would certainly have been a lot to tell about London between the individual stops. And it was very cold on the bus because everything is open.

The best thing was the freedom with which I could use your different buses. It was only on the second day that I found your headphones, they were very useful, they worked much better than streaming. Traveling relaxed, without the pressure of having to see everything, was great.

I didn't understand how the narration worked so I was listening through my phone (streaming) but I kept loosing the audio. When the bus stopped the driver gave us headphones and showed us where they plugged in. That was very thoughtful of him. Once plugged in, the narration was engaging and fun. The bus was stopped on Tower Bridge to allow some sailboats to pass through. The driver suggested we go to the upper deck to watch the event or we exit the bus to watch from the pavement and he would "give us a whistle " when we needed to jump back on. We moved to the upper deck and enjoyed the view. Again, this was very thoughtful of him.

The busses and routes were good. However, I seemed unable to download a full route map (such as the ones on the buses) from the website so wasted time trying to work out the routes and where to board the buses. . I had also understood that our tickets included the optional boat trip, but I was forced to return to the ticket office at Tower Bridge to buy tickets.

toot bus is a great oportunity to discover London. You shuld not use the app, instead use the provided headphones in the bus. Otherwise you will experience cut off descriptions all the time. The headout payment options are very limited.

We really enjoyed riding the double decker bus and it allowed us to at least see many of the famous London landmarks, however, because of the massive protest on October 5, 2024, the route had several diversions so we were not able to see everything that was offered on the tour. We actually decided to get off the bus at a stop and walk back to our hotel as traffic was at a standstill due to the disruptions all along the route that day so rather than waste our time stuck in traffic, we were at least still able to see some sights and experience the city. Unfortunate and not the fault of the company, but disappointing after spending so much money to take in the tour. If we return, we would do it again and explore the city properly, as the ability to get on and off the bus is a great way to see the major London attractions.

I've been to London many times, this time taking the hop on hop off bus it took me to a lot of places I didn't know about. Also having a running commentary on the history of London was really interesting. Getting the bus was easy, staff were really pleasant and helpful. Having someone else drive around London was relaxing. I loved it and would do it again when I'm next in London.

It was good. Friendly and helpful staff. We got off the train at Waterloo it wasn't clear where the stop was. Happy there were staff there to direct us 😊

The Bus tour itself was perfect, the audioguide had interesting details. Only the bus driver told us, he was going past Waterloo station and then didn't. He ended his tour at Victoria Station, where we did not want to end up in the already dark evening 🤨!

Tickets were easy to buy online and using the two apps. Nice tour that one of the routes took us to an area of London that we have never visited before.

Due to a protest we were cut short on our trip and completely redirected. We had wanted to get off at multiple points but we're advise not to due to the nature of the protest. It was at no fault of the bus driver himself. He was an amazing person full of knowledge and kindness. I just feel like the company shouldn't even put the drivers at risk at that point. It was disappointing to go all the way to these huge destinations not even to feel safe enough to get out and enjoy them

The service was excellent! The commentary on the earphones and the leaflet was well provided which added to the experience and understanding the history of the city. I would highly recommend this , epsecially for senior citizens who cannot walk alot.

This tour will get you around all the major tourist attractions in London. It is hop-on-hop, hop-off as advertisied. There was no communication from the staff on the bus to let you know what stop was coming up next. I happen to find the audio earbuds in a bin after the 3rd or 4th stop. The audio was hard to hear and would cut in and out. The average wait time at each stop was 20-30 minutes, while other companies were coming every 10-15 minutes. Where other companies had staff to help you get on the correct color buses and be generally helpful at the stops, Toot bus staff were mostly nonexistent. Would not recommend.

The guided tour section on the bus was really poor, some landmarks were missed, some were mis-timed. Sentences cut short and music interrupting. Out of the six of us, I was the only one who persevered and continued to listen. This was supposed to be a historical and informational tour - disappointing! There was the odd fun fact thrown in, ie movies early on in the tour.

O facto de estarem prestes a sair quando chegámos. O facto de haver tradução em português no audioguide. Os circuitos muito bons, levaram-nos a poder conhecer boa parte da cidade num curto espaço de tempo. Pontos a melhorar: motorista e algum staff poderiam ser mais simpáticos, havia lixo espalhado no autocarro. Comprei os bilhetes através da Headout e foi difícil conseguir obter um mapa das rotas.

Lots of buses and great route. My one complaint is that I didn't have a map to figure out where to get on. I ordered the ticket online and couldn't figure it out from the online map. Otherwise, great, thank you.

Very easy to buy and collect the tickets from readout. We really enjoyed the toot bus experience too, great routes, enough buses and not overcrowded. App works well with timings.
