Palace of Versailles Guided Tour with Optional All Access Ticket

This is the second time using Head Out. Both times were great experiences. This one was for the Palace.of Versialles. The guide was wonderful, very enthusiastic and engaging. She had great info about every room we went into. She also did her best to keep us out of the crowds (even though its off season, it's still very crowded, so we made the right decision getting a skip the line tour. It cost a little more, but it was worth it. The meet up was well explained in the email (we found our guide and group very easily and they were at the meeting point early!) everything was on point. I will definitely use Head Out again for my European Tours. Very pleased !

Great tour! Highly personable and knowledgeable guide! The ability to skip the giant lines was already worth the price but the excellent tour guide took the experience over the top. Highly recommend!

Le château est bien conservé, ses pièces sont magnifiquement décorées et les jardins sont à couper le souffle, nous avons vidé la batterie de notre gsm avec les vidéos et photographies. Nous avons assisté à un ballet de jets d'eau au milieu d'un étang au rythme d'une musique d'époque, fantastique. De plus , Julie, notre guide nous a fait vivre des moments poignants, ses récits d'histoire et ses anecdotes nous ont captivés. Merci pour ce merveilleux moment.

It was a quiet day at Versailles so Nils was able to walk us around at a good pace. The 9.10am start helped as well as crowds had not really started. He was very knowledgeable and funny. The gardens were amazing and we enjoyed exploring them ourselves.

We were fascinated! The guide was very clear and despite the number of visitors we were able to follow her very well and learn about the history of the Palace of Versailles.

Our tour guide Pierre D was an excellent tour guide, and I don't hesitate to say he is probably one of the best we have experienced. He was very friendly, entertaining and did his best to be interactive with everyone in the group. His knowledge of the Versailles Palace was extensive and he made it easy to imagine being in the palace with the "Louis's". After the tour he gave us great advice for walking the palace gardens. Thank you Pierre for helping to make our vacation memorable.

I am glad we had a guide so we could know what we saw during the tour trough the palas. The gardens was lovely but I was a bit dissapointed for the little train that just went putside the gardens.

Everything went smoothly and our guide was so great. Introduction was easy to follow with headset and we got lots of interesting knowledge about palace history and the glamorous lifestyle of the Ludvig XIV.

Notre guide était super sympa. Elle nous a raconté des anecdotes croustillantes sur la vie des rois à cette époque. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Et nous avons pu profiter de la journée complète à Versailles. C'était génial ! Le seul petit point négatif est le temps d'attente pour entrer dans le château à l'arrivée malgré le coupe-fil. Mais sinon, tout était super.

Our guide was excellent. We loved the Palace. Disappointed that the equestrian statue was being renovated. Way too much to do in a day if you are in your late 60's. Just too much ground to cover. We wete too tired to even get into the gardens. But we did hire a cart to get to the petit and grand trianons. No way we could have walked it.

We booked the guided tour, and luckily we did. The queue to get into the chateau is shorter with a group than as a single admission. The guided tour was awesome, plenty of information and fun facts. I can only recommend this tour.

Our guide Francesco was great . He explained dramatically about the Palace history.. The ladies at the group joining was also very supportive.

The guide was very good. It took a little more time to go in, than I expected, but it doesn't depend on you.
