Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Tickets

We booked the first ticket time of the day so we got in easily and quickly. We loved the exhibits around open squares and fountains, the entire rooms of marble sculptures of animals, the Egyptian exhibit with mummies and hyroglyphics. I brought my camera and telephoto lens to take pictures of the Sistine Chapel. I wanted to be able to really study the art. We were very disappointed to learn that absolutely NO photos are allowed! That was the whole point of going to the Vatican Museum. A person can't look straight up for very long so I didn't feel I got much from it. I did enjoy the rest of the museum much more than I expected.

Avoided queues. Punctual. Splendid museums and superlative Sistine. I understand that it may be impossible but wouldn't the flood of people pouring inside be staggered?

Lovely museum and would definitely ecommend going, however, I would recommend at least 4 hours for your visit. The organisation outside was not very clear, different lines and no explanation of which lines were assigned for time slots or prebooked.

The museum is an impressive collection of ancient art. From the Egyptian art treasures to the ancient statues and wall paintings. The reason for my trip to Rome and an absolute must.

The fact that we were able to walk past the huge queue at the selected time with the previously used tickets and enter for our visit was excellent This led to an unforgettable visit without our mood being dampened by waiting in line forever We would recommend this option at any time

Old museum exhibits, sculptures, found pieces and paintings, etc. All very neat and easy to follow. Tickets worked very well.

The wonderful art and surprising collections. The chapel is truly remarkable - worth being herded through galleries with masses of people.

The visit to the museums and the Sistine Chapel was very good. In the museum the food and drinks are cheap not like in other museums that put charismas drinks and food. There were a lot of people

We did the SOLO tour with my children. I admit that it's not up to you, but welcoming visitors to the museum is a bit complicated. We were entitled to listening devices, but I couldn't find a way to get them, so we had to pay for them. But the museum is superb and the tickets we bought meant we only had to queue for 40 minutes.

It was important not to have to stand in the long lines we saw forming. We arrived a quarter of an hour early, were told to wait for the time indicated, and went straight through. Inside, we preferred to move around without a guide.

Everything went really well. We were able to avoid the long queue and were able to go straight into the Vatican. Every cent is worth it with Headout. We can really recommend it to everyone! We were simply thrilled and hadn't expected it.

Buying online tickets was a great decision, as the que to the entrance is huge. Our skip-the-line que was not small, but moved quickly and in several minutes we were inside. We had no guide and as to us, it was also a good choice, as we have spent there whole day, instead of 3 hours of guided tour. There are many museums, enormous quantity of things to see, I guess even a week is not enough, so 1 day from opening to closing is must to spend time. There are several cafes inside and you can make small breaks with coffee and snacks, even have a lunch or dinner.

The ultimate thing that makes my visit memorable is the range of sculptures and paintings and the order that they were putting them.

They were very kind. But yes, it is true that it is the typical place where they sell you the tickets three times more expensive, it is a shame because they buy the tickets, they sell them out and then they sell them to you three times more expensive.

We bought tickets without a guided tour. The reception at the entrance was not pleasant: guards were unfriendly and randomly asked for ID at the entrance for no reason. The museum has some magnificent galleries. The Sistine Chapel was disappointing compared with the beauty of some of the other rooms, and the guards didn't give us time to appreciate the paintings in the chapel, forcing us to get out quickly. We had to follow a compulsory itinerary that can seem interminable.

The museum is very interesting, the audio guide I thought it was hired but we were charged separately, if we avoid the queues by having an admission schedule, and the highlight is the Sistine Chapel.

Some team members at the meeting point were a bit rude. When accompanying us to the venue, the guide asked us to go to a specific queue and there we found our ticket was scheduled for 3pm not 2.30pm as pointed in the app. I felt the organisation could've been better because we had to wait for 1 hour since we arrived at 2pm (30 minutes before the start of the tour, as recommended in the instructions)

It said on the website that with 50 euros I would also buy the guided tour, but when I redeemed the tickets they gave me tickets for a group and there was no guided tour

The headout tickets were really helpful...I just want to inform the other buyers that there is a waiting line at the time the tickets say, but you go inside very quickly...
