Accademia Gallery Skip-the-Line Guided Tour

Our guide was fantastic. The context and color she added to our tour was incredibly helpful for our entire Italy trip. It layed a great informational foundation and understanding of some of the Renaissance greats.

Our guide Lori was absolutely amazing during this tour. She was enthusiastic and engaging. Her knowledge, detailed but not overwhelming. It was great to listen along to a story that provided context not only to the artwork/pieces on display, but also Michaelangelo personally and the kind of person he was, as well as a quick revision of Florence's history and other families/artists like the Medicis in an interesting way with fun facts. A well executed tour, timed well through the rooms and with plenty of time to analyse Michaelangelo's David up close and in detail. Highly recommended.

As promised we 'skipped the line' (which was very long & confusing). Sara our guide was very interesting & week informed. A very enjoyable tour!

The guide was knowledge and it was very interesting! My kids (13, 11, 7) and I all had a great time and learned a lot! Hardly any wait in line to get in, and didn't feel rushed in the exhibit at all. Spent a lot of time at the David and from multiple angles. Loved it! It was my first experience with a guided tour and I so glad we did it! BUT I am disappointed with the back end of things - when booking the tour it said to meet far away from the accademia and instead to meet near the uffitzi - thst didn't make sense to me, so I chatted online with someone and they confirmed the location and that we'd walk with our guide over. The day before the tour I got an email confirming that same location. When we arrived I was told we were at the wrong location and needed to hurry over to the meeting spot by the accademia. We then needed to RUN through the city to get there on time so we wouldn't miss the tour. We arrived sweaty and frazzled. The tour guide was fantastic, but the communication leading up to the tour was not good.

From the start very welcoming and organised at the meeting point. Smooth transition into museum. Stephanie was very informative and interesting guide who made sure our experience was perfect! We had a super day Sheila & Judy UK

We were organized by staff and family Ben our tickets. Sarah was our guide and it was a beautiful experience. She shared historical stories and knowledge about the building and artwork inside. She shared info about working with marble and chalk to create a statue. I highly recommend this experience.

We were informed there was a potential problem with our reservation and they needed to change the time. We were notified and I explained that it was impossible for us to change our times since we were on the cruise ship and had no control on whine. We're going to be available and that was why we picked the times we had in advance. They worked with us to get us in at our scheduled time. Very great service!

The tour guide Mariogesu was incredible. What a profound insight only the workings of Michelangelo and a real experience to savour: everyone who comes to Florence should do this tour.

Our guide was amazing, knowledable and humorous. We love the rich history of art in every corner of Italy! Definitely recommend this tour.

We skipped the line as promised and our guide was full of knowledge that she gladly shared with our small group. The small group number added to the individual feel of the tour. Our one hour was spent talking in depth about Michaelangelo and then viewing his David. The background info on Michaelangelo was great. The only thing that could have made the tour better was if we'd had more time to spend with our guide throughout the entire gallery, but that was all the time we had to devote. It certainly would be worth a trip back.

Very fast line, outstanding tour with dedicated information. I also felt it was flexible if you wanted to do something else.

Ticketing was very easy, and instructions were very easy to follow. Our guide, Laura, was excellent! Her depth and breadth of knowledge were very impressive, and the stories and history were fascinating. Would highly recommend both Headout and Laura!

Great visit to the Accademia with our Guide Alex. She was great to listen to and gave lots of information. Her English was superb. Thanls for a great visit. Meet up point was easy to find and all went ok. Would highly recommend.

Very organized and full of wonderful information. Our tour guide, Olga was fantastic!!! She is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions. It is obvious that she has spent a great deal of time learning and researching Michaelangelo. Registering for this tour, finding the tour group and the communications were easy and efficient

Going to the Accademia with a guide turned out to be the best decision! Our guide, Olga was fun, knowledgeable and passionate- she really brought the significance of the David to life! And, perhaps more importantly she navigated the crowds for us! Highly recommend!

Our guide Lori was superb. We walked straight past the queue and she sat us down in one of the galleries while she talked about Michelangelo. The information was really interesting and not at all overwhelming. She showed us the musical instruments before taking us through to see David. She drew attention to the way Michelangelo had done his eyes and so many other things we would not have known. Thank you so much Lori!

Our guide was great, she spoke so passionate about David that made us enjoy the tour so much more. It was amazing to see him!
