My Dad and I came to Firenze and have had the most marvellous time. I booked us tickets to the Ufizi with an audio tour so we could understand what we were seeing. It was absolutely ideal. We meandered through beauty and were overwhelmed.

It is highly recommended to book an online ticket with the earliest possible time slot. Even at 08:15 the queue was already long. The exhibition was absolutely impressive and well worth seeing! An absolute must' From 9 a.m. there were already masses of people in the museum. The only negative experience was the coffee house on the roof. You have to expect high prices there - the poor quality of the food was disappointing. An absolutely dry (not fresh) mini cornetto and a dry sweet pastry with vanilla cream. Both very small.

Many authors in the Uffizi Gallery make a strong impression, but this certainly would not surprise anyone. Personally, I was most impressed by Caravaggio's Medusa. The view from the cafe over Florence is spectacular.

Incredible site but way too much (ignorant) people. Audio tour was not in English but in Italian so I could not withdraw from the crowd and enjoy the exhibition.

Early in the morning, the queue was quickly cleared thanks to good admission organization. As the visitors were well spread out, it was easy to stroll through the many rooms with their unforgettable paintings and sculptures.

Beautiful paintings, lovely museum and not too many people. I mean, there were people, but it was still comfortable. Good amount of seating too, so you could stop and rest for a bit.

Easy ordering, Easy pick up, and straight to the entrance. The museum is very well laid out. Buying a guide book was a must for us, so we could determine the must sees.
Our ticket price was very competitive.

Everything went well, the negative thing is that you have to queue at gate 3 and then queue again to get into the museum at Laporte 1, which wastes a lot of time.

Museum was great. The audio however was difficult to follow. After the first hallway we were lost. The room description alone was not enough without a map. We ended up turning audio off. Im told the museum audiovis much better. We should have bought the ticket and then paid the $6 museum audio with headset.

The audio guide was a wonderful addition to our enjoyment of the museum. Highly recommend it! The museum is laid out in chronological order so you can see the progression in art and how the renaissance really sparked change. I loved it!

Uffizi gallery is definitely a must-go place in Florence. It is better that you can spend a whole day during week days and spend a lunch time in the gallery restaurant.
Getting a ticket in advance is a must. My experience with Headout is great. I met the staff in the meeting point and she took us dirctly to the place for security check. No need to wait in line. The included audio guide can be downloaded in advance into the mobile phone and use my own headset. Next time if i will visit here one more time and I will definitely book it from here again.
