Positive: to make the visit with less people around.
Negative: the guide didn't show much interest in explaining the wonders we were going to see: on the explanations panel you couldn't see it and she didn't bother to turn on the flashlight.

Our tour guide knew a ton about the Vatican and it made it an enjoyable experience. It was easy to locate the guide and they took great steps to get our entire group through the ticketing and security.
It should be noted, this is a WALKING tour - no problem for me but there were some folks in my group (had cane/mobility issues) who seemed surprised by that and weren't able to complete the tour. The walking was about 1.5-2 hours total.

Stefano was engaging, knowledgable, passionate and I found his dry sense of humour funny. It was amazing to be literally the last people on n the chapel. I can only imagine what it must be like to be in the middle of a daytime crowd.

my tour guide was AMAZING (i cant remember the spelling, but it was yazmina?). she was so knowledgable, super energetic, had great interesting stories and facts to share. It was a very rainy day, but that didnt stop us from having an amazing time. She made sure all members of the group were accounted for, enjoying themselves and had plenty of time to experience, ask questions and enjoy the amazing vatican!

The guide was very knowledgeable but there were issues getting started. Not sure if it was because of the crowds. I don't know that it was anything within the guides control but the tour ended up being very riushed and she had tot all really fast to get us through so that we had 5 minutes in the sistene chapel before it closed.

I think everything was rushed and the guide lost track of me twice and finally completely and I was on my own I was expecting more original statues not fake things over all the best was RYAN and the Saint Petersburg Basilica that was awesome answering the pope which I did do the following day. I thought my ticket was supposed to include a guided tour that was not a big deal. The guide was very friendly. and knowledgeable. I would not take that away from her, except for she lost me within the first five minutes I heard her speaking, the German speaking man on the radio and then it cut out later on in the visit she found me and lo and behold she lost me again, and I finished the tour on my own, but I did turn in my headphones and speaker device with my hand so I'm sure you received it back so please do not charge me for it. I did honorable thing and did return it.

I think that this experience was definitely worth the money for Skip the line tickets! Our tour guide was fantastic and this experience helped ease the pressure of the large crowds. The tour was very, very informative and interesting and I would definitely recommend it. Two guys name was Juliana and she was wonderful.

The tour was amazing, everything went smooth from finding the meeting point and the guide, to walking in. Our guide Raffaela was very knowledgeable, she cherrypicked the best and most interesting artefacts to show us. We had a great time, it's definitely worth it 👍

Easy to find tour guide! Our tour guide was great at making sure he didn't lose anyone! He gave us time to use the bathroom & made sure he didn't go too fast! We loved the Sistine Chapel!

Our tour guide was informative and had a good sense of humor. He was also very good about making sure we were all together. The beauty of what we saw in terms of art was incredible and the Sistine Chapel is the crowning glory. There were lots of people in the museum for the after hours tour. I wish I had chosen the early morning one. That might have been less crowded.

The guide practically ran through the museum, and it was difficult to even look at what she was discussing. By the time we advanced to what she had been talking about because it was so crowded, she had moved on to something else. We never even got to see the Bramante staircase.

Making the reservation was the best thing to do, if you wait in line but it is exclusive for these groups, they explained everything to us, I think the time in the Sistine Chapel was little but you can also understand the demand of the people, at the end of the tour they gave us direct access to St. Peter's Basilica. Super recommended.

Valeria was wonderful. Glad they added detours within the museum as I got to see more than what I had on other tours prior.

A bit hard to find our group. Better signage would be helpful . Stefania was great! Very informative. I thought we'd see more of the Vatican museum rather than just the Popea rooms. But I would do this again with different areas (to see).

Flavia guided us through our tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. She was brilliant!
Breakfast in the Pinecone Courtyard was lovely.
No issues with finding the meeting place and checking in.
Avoided the long line to get tickets, even at 8am the line to get tickets was incredibly long. We just breezed through security and went straight to breakfast.
The whole tour was fantastic. We cut through to St Peter's and were then left to look around on our own.
Highly recommend this tour and Flavia!

The breakfast has a great selection but was rather short with about 30-45 min to enjoy. It took a long time to even receive the dishes they offered for breakfast as well as getting someone to take our coffee order. We honestly felt we didn't have enough time to enjoy our meal The tour itself was interesting and very necessary when visiting the Vatican, without it you would wait basically hours to get in unless you arrive an hour or two before it opens. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kept everyone moving. He answered questions with enthusiasm and threw in a couple jokes to keep us entertained. This was one of our best tours and I would definitely recommend it. The only problem we had was how short the breakfast was, but even so, a very cool experience.
