St. Mark's Basilica Guided Tour with Museum

Skipping the line. But we didn't like waiting for the start time which was pushed ahead. Other than that...loved our guide.

The tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable of history and art. Walked us through the cathedral and dome at a great pace. Given the number of stairs to climb to the top she was very clear so people could decide to continue or not. I did it and appreciate she guided us through steep and narrow stairs very smoothly.

The ticketing experience was straightforward, and easy to access. The tour operators were friendly and efficient. The guide was fantastic, really knowledgeable, interesting and passionate about the city, and the basilica. It was an all round great experience.

It was a lovely experience and. We learned a lot. The host was very knowledgeable and passionate about the rich history of the basilica. She provided us with plenty of time to explore the basilica. It was amazing to know the rich history and the spectacular gold mosaics of the basilica. It was more magical when they turned on the lights of the ceiling of the basilica. We were lucky to witness it during that time because she said that lights are turned on just only for one hour per day to conserve the mosaics and their splendor. This is a must place. You need to see it and explore it. You should book your tour around 11:30-12:30 to witness the ceiling with the lights on. It's more magical that way.

Denise was a wonderful Guide and extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour and feel that we walked away very well educated.

The experience was good. The entrance to the Basilica was agile, the guide knowledgeable, too bad that just the 11:00 am visit is the most popular and there were a lot of people. After the guided tour, we stayed a little longer to see this magnificent Basilica in detail and I think the experience was excellent.

What an incredible place to visit , tour was a good length of time to get a flavour of the basilica without it being to much , not having to que was great and our guide Giovanni was brilliant and extremely informative, would recommend

The Basilica is magnificent. Very nice to be told the story rather than just visiting and looking. All the anecdotes and details make the guided tour very enjoyable. And with the headset, you can hear the guide clearly, despite the crowds. Still, I find the price a little high, given that admission to the Basilica is free. It's still worth doing, but I don't regret it.

Our guide was really nice. It was convenient to skip the line. You don't really get that much time inside. Part of the tour is just walking from the meeting place to the basilica. You can take photos inside the basilica (I thought I had read somewhere that you couldn't).

We were lucky enough to be the only German-speaking guests that day, so we had a private tour of this incredible cathedral. Charlotta was very, very nice and just showered us with information 😉 it was super informative and the building is absolutely impressive. We can only recommend everyone to book a guided tour of the cathedral, because without all this historical information you can't really appreciate what you're seeing.

Knowledgeable guide. Definitely glad we booked with a guide, the history and stories were amazing. It was a little confusing where to meet/go so that could be a little clearer...just leave yourself extra time to figure out meeting spot as mapping is off and on in Venice

We loved the tour in St. Mark's Basilica. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and made the tour fun. I liked how it was described to us by the tour guide that the St. Mark Square represents knowledge, power and religion with the Biblioteca Marciana (Knowledge), Doge's Palace (Power), and Basilica di San Marco (Religion ) situated in the square. Amazing tour! I was glad to get the tickets on headout last minute. We didn't plan ahead and after we reached St. Mark Square, we saw then long line to enter the Basilica. I went to Headout, purchased our ticket and was able to enjoy the tour with my family. Thank you, Headout!

Our guide was outstanding. For a 45 minute tour she gave a great deal of history of the Basillica along with interesting stories. I feel she could have spent 2-3 hours telling us about the Basillica and Venice.

I usually don't like guided tours, but Mirco was an amazing guide. We would gladly take any tour he leads! He was funny, friendly, and full of information on everything we saw. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice.

Our guide Mariam was very knowledgeable and told the stories really well and in an engaging way. As a geologist I found the information about the problems with the city sinking and water rising very interesting. The inside of the Basilica and the Pala D'Oro were spectacular.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She emphasized the most important aspects of the basilica, the line for entry for those not on a guided tour was so long and the weather was very hot. Worth the money and I highly recommend.

Online ticketing was easy; instructions of where to meet were clear. It was great to get into the basilica before the crowds, and our guide was very informative. I would recommend this tour to friends.

A great tour . The headphones were amazing as there are so many people about . Meet up point easy . You need to swap your online ticket at the meet up point for an actual ticket at the office.
