Venice Icons: St. Mark’s Basilica & Doge’s Palace Skip-the-Line Guided Tour

The whole program was as planned, and I thought everything we visited was spectacular, and there was no waiting to enter the monuments.

The tour of St Mark's Balsilica and the Doge's Place was an amazing experience, one of the highlights of my Venezia trip!! My guide was incredibly knowledgeable and so pleasant to be with that the time fly by!! There is so to observe and learn I could have spent the entire day with my guide!! Thank you!!

Fabulous guide who was so knowledgeable and approachable. Even though the crowds were huge she managed to move us through both St Mark's and the Palace without any stress and always ready to answer any questions. Absolutely recommend this tour especially the early start as it gives you the opportunity to see it all without the crowds!

The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. Tour was not rushed. Queues were indeed skipped. Very informative

The tour ladies were very knowledgable about both places. We had 3 people and had 2 tour ladies-each for a separate tour. It will be better if the tour agent inform us ahead of time that there will be 2 separate tours with different tour guys. We had to ask the tour lady when we finished the 1st one because no one told us where & when to meet for the 2nd tour(We paid for both tours) and waa told to go back to the original gathering place for the 2nd one. If we didn't ask, probably no one would tell us.

The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, she made the tour very enjoyable and interesting. We saw things we might have missed if we were on our own.

Our first guided tour and we LOVED it. So knowledgeable and we learnt so much as well as little jokes to keep it entertaining too! MOLTE BENE!

The local guide was wonderful and provided so much history as we walked thru St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. It was easy to find the meeting location and from booking until the tour finished the experience was seamless.

We enjoyed both places. The tour said it was an hour and half but was more like two hours. We wished our guide's English was easier to understand.

Our guide was very informative, she spoke English very well. She spent a lot of time with our group taking us to all areas of Doges palace and St Marks basilica. She explained much of the art work and was very knowledgeable with the history for both locations. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Our tour guide, Valentina, was incredibly knowledgeable and pointed out many of the beautiful sights and historical background I would have missed without her guiding us through the buildings and area. It was well worth it.

A decent guide, but nothing more. But I guess it depends on who you come across... The sites are great! Attention, the meeting point is not correct, you have to go to the Venice Tours agency at "Campo San Gallo" and not to this famous wooden hut where we waited 20 minutes and had to join the group by express after having understood that it was not the right meeting point, a little stress but in the end the visit went well.

We had a fantastic tour guide who was very proficient in english and had lots of knowledge of the Basilica and Doges Palace.
