The vaporetto is the best way to get around Venice and with this pass we had no problems whatsoever. An expense I would definitely do again.

As we stayed in a hotel outside of Venice, we were able to use this on the bus and tram to get in and out of Venice, then on the waterbuses to go around Venice and get some amazing pictures. We able to navigate ourselves to Burano which is a must. Very useful for jumping on waterbuses just to rest your feet from all the walking. Overall good value for money we definitely made the most of having these tickets.

The actual purchase at the vending machine is very difficult because of the small font and the sun on the screen. But then using the vaporetti was an absolute pleasure!

Simple Easy Fast

Very easy to get around Venice and the surrounding area, the package is very good considering the price for 75 min per unit.
On the other hand, the welcome is usually deplorable, as in many places in Venice.
Apart from a few exceptions among the staff, 2 of whom were smiling and attentive... we took at least 20 different caporettos during our stay.

The machines tell users to show the voucher's barcode, and they show where to show it.
However, my voucher didn't have a barcode. It had a code that had to be typed in.
Better instructions would be:
If you have a BARCODEm show it etc..
If you have a PRINTED code, use the displayed keyboard.
And please display the Keyboard, not an icon that needs to be clicked on before the keyboard appears.
That would make the process equally easy for people with, our without a barcode.

Hard to buy tickets. Not clear where the machine is. It should be possible to buy tickets on the phone and not collect a hard copy. If that is possible, it is not very clear.

We were able to travel as and when we wanted with our 7-day ticket. Super!
The bad thing is that although we booked online, we had to print out the tickets at the counter. That was not easy and cost us a lot of nerves!

It would be nice if it were more differentiated - day ticket, 2-day, 3-day, 4-day ... etc.
