Vaporetto ACTV Water Bus & Mainland Bus Pass: 1 to 7 Days

Convenient, punctual, organization and ubiquity of service up to the best international standards. I would put in a few more ticket controllers. Many tourists (especially foreigners) would enter the piers stamping a single ticket, passing it "cheerfully" among themselves

The best thing we did was buy the 7 day Vaparetto pass. We would just jump on the Vaparetto and go wherever it took us. I would recommend it to everyone!!! Here are some views from the Vaparetto.

The vaporetto was easy to use and always little wait. We were pleased that our ACTV pass also worked for the bus to the airport.

Just to see real life in the city eartly in the morning, and how the locals are using the service. We could use the bus in Lido and go around with the same ticket, so it was really helpfull.

The code for printing out the ticket at the machine arrived promptly by email. The code was recognized directly by the machine and we then received the appropriate tickets as a printout. We could probably have bought the tickets directly from the machine (necessary for the printout) and saved ourselves €5 in fees. The cruise itself was easy, pleasant and varied. We recommend not getting on or changing at the train station. There are simply too many people there who also want to use a vaporetto. We didn't have time to wait for the next but one or even later boat. So we took a good half hour boat ride for two for 55€. We then walked back on foot. Conclusion: Riding the vaporetto is really an experience and highly recommended! Next time, however, we would only buy a ticket for one trip, and we would buy it from the ticket machine. That would be cheaper. Incidentally, the ticket prices are pretty much the same as here on Lake Constance for the excursion boats!

The multi-day tickets are highly recommended, especially if you are staying on the Lido. However, strikes on the vaporetto lines are not that rare. (It happened to me - so the ticket is a waste for that day)

Very good value for money especially as we stayed on one of the islands which required travel to and from the island on a regular basis during the day.

The online booking was so easy I started it just before the boat arrived and made it on time. The boat routes on the map at the station were very clear. Seamless transportation in a confusing city.

Services were frequent and always in time. The staff was polite and happy to help. The website and the reservation message need to be upaded to avoid the misleading impression that passengers need to print out their card (they don't). Keep it short and simple, please!

Enjoyed the trip to the islands. Guide was great and we had plenty of time to experience the cool vibes in these small towns.

The pass is easy to use. The vaporetto lines are well indicated and the stops are clear and easy to find.

Only 2.5€ charge via this site (others charge 10€ more). 45€ for a 3-day vaporetto pass. Well worth it considering the number of trips I made. I didn't queue once. The surrounding islands are included. Burano is a real marvel. To be repeated.

Pass for the water cabs worked perfectly. Due to the Ascension Day holiday, there were an extremely large number of tourists. So many people were employed by the boats that not all family members were always taken on board. The stations were easy to find, construction sites and partially closed stations were poorly marked.

What we did NOT like: Too much diesel. Why are electric motors not an issue? Venice is drowning and suffocating. The vaporettis are part of it. Very bitter for this wonderful city.

Hello Easy, accessible, pleasant. We didn't have to worry about buying a ticket every time. We were on our way to the airport. We had to use the bus. Top 5 minutes from our accommodation. Very well served. Too bad we had a strike one day. So we were stuck for the day. We had to pay to get there. Too expensive for us....

Loved BURANO it was a lovely place to visit and chill out with a cold beer. Don't worry about shopping just enjoy this beautiful place. The ferry is very full and crowded but just go with it and enjoy.

Simple activation of the ticket previously purchased online. The freedom to take the vaporetto an unlimited number of times and travel anywhere.

Boat trips are a must for Venice. It allowed us to see most of the island. And the night trips are just magical.

beautiful venice, very high prices but if everyone pays it, there is no brake. if you go a little outside the tourist area the prices are more 'normal' . supermarket in the church, wonderful!
