Water Bus Transfers: Marco Polo Airport to/from Venice City

Easy to book the waterbus tickets but had to then go to the ticket office to get the real ticket....that is not efficent. Travelling on the waterbus was lovely.

Very helpful agents at both the Alilaguna offices -at the acquaport at VCE and in Venice – in helping me exchange my vouchers for actual tickets. Thank you.

When we arrived in Venice we bought the tickets on the plane to take the boat there and back. When we went to exchange them at the ticket counter, something that made us lose a lot of time, we were told that the tickets were not ready and we were even scolded for having bought the tickets online and not at the ticket counter.

It took too much time in total; first the waiting time before the boat arrived, then the transfer due to the several stops. In total it has cost us 90 minites of our precious time. As a conseqeunce we didn't use the ticket for the return but booked a taxi taking us from the Isola delle Rose to the Airport in 30 minutes

Ticket experience was great. We just arrived on time to adjourn the boat... We did not know it was such a long walk from tghe baggage arrival. .. but again everything worked out fine.

It was fun to arrive at Venice via boat bus. We had to wait for about 20 minutes at the dock to board. Wish I could of seen more out the widows of the boat. But there was a drop off near my hotel. So it worked out well.

The taxi is great and stops all around the lagoon ,so on a nice day ,you get to see it all ,the walk from airport to the taxi is around a 15 min walk and the taxi takes about 1hour 10 mins to get to st marks square ,if you are returning to Marco Polo at night make sure you have checked the pier and the time for the vaporetto as there may not be anyone around to ask , altogether a great experience,we actually visited Venice for a day ,early flight out and late return,it can be done !!

Very practical ali laguna shuttle between the airport and the island of Lido. One hour journey. No need to go through the train station and san marco with suitcases.

How could you not leave Venice by waterbus to the airport for the modest sum of 15euros / pers. and that for a journey of less than an hour and to be able to admire the surrounding area, Burano etc.? It's all just to bring things full circle. Venice, the city of vaperetto, gondolas. That's Venice.

Very punctual, clear ticket area, available in several languages Why did we have to sit in the reserved area without a view on the return journey? Too bad

The Headout app Made my tours and transfers throughout Italy seamless and easy. I could keep track of everything in the app.

Both the airport transfer there and back with Alilaguna and the 3-day ticket for the vaporetti worked without any problems, simple, uncomplicated, really nice the journey over the water - but since you have to queue up at both to exchange the respective voucher for the real ticket, you can just as well buy it on the spot.

The staff where very helpful with our bags and my father who had limited mobility. Only issue was that we weren't told until we got to the ticket office - where you need to exchange your booking info for a ticket - that the final station we wanted to go to was closed.

Smooth and easy ride. The staff were very helpful with embarking and disembarking processes. Ferries weren't overcrowded which was great. The queues were a bit long and took a while to get through

Only issue is that I had wanted to get the shuttle to Museu station but was told it was closed due to works, we got the vaporetto from Colonna to Museu, the website didn't warn us of this.

We entered our details at the ticket machine and immediately had our tickets. Completely uncomplicated and quick. It was great fun. Super organization!

The whole process was easy, we bought tickets online the day before, validated them at ticket office at airport and used the same ticket for return trip.

It would be nice if you could get a real online ticket straight away and not have to queue to exchange the online ticket for a physical ticket. This way you have to pay additional fees without any recognizable benefit.

It would be useful to provide clearer information on where to collect the ticket ordered online once you arrive at the airport. For example: "Once you reach the boarding level (after taking the escalator or elevator), you will find a counter on the left to collect your ticket ordered online".

The transfers to and from Marco Polo airport and Venice were great and the information regarding the voucher and ticket exchange were very clear, although I wasn't sure that I had downloaded the correct voucher, as it was totally different to the 2 day water bus voucher in format, I needn't have worried, everything went smoothly.
