Pompeii Tickets

The mix between ancient ruins and so many green placee. I loved the trees, the grass flowers and how some of the houses had an internal garden full of fauna.

The place was easy to find and as we were traveling on a Wednesday in November, there was no line at all. Tickets were easy to receive with the booking number, no problems at all. :)

The site is impressive in its size and state of preservation. In my opinion, for visitors who have not taken the guided tour or audio commentary, explanatory signage is lacking. It's very important to choose the right ticket for the right visit.

Pompeii is stupendous. It took a while to collect our tickets, however the process was simple enough and once we were in we had a wonderful time.

we had to exchange the online tickets for a voucher (waiting time 45 min). then we had to exchange the voucher for the ticket (waiting time 45 min). the admission system at pompeii is therefore completely inefficient. otherwise everything worked well, especially with the audioguide we were very satisfied.

Zooming in was very limited... Staff did not know how to access the additional information on the audio guide. Symbols like clay jugs or the fugitives are too small.

Everything fell into place. I appreciated online and no wait to let purchase in advance. The app worked well. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay that long. I'll be back.

a bit strange if you buy a ticket online, to have to go to a ticket office where the employee has to encode the reservation number as well as the family name ... fortunately there wasn't a line of 1,000 people in front of us that day!

The purchase of the ticket was easy, the price was somewhat high and I would have liked it to be delivered with a map/brochure explaining the ruins.

I was very surprised as I didn't think it was for me at all.But it was fantastic and a really good experience. I think the way you work with excavation is both exciting and respectful, and I really appreciate that. This is not the last time I visit Pompeii :-)

It was pretty cool and much bigger than we thought it was going to be. You need to give out earbuds to go w the audio phone you gave us tho. It was kinda hard to hear the speaker tell us about what we were seeing

Easy-to-find meeting point, simple to book, but the audio guide is a little light on content for such a large site with so much history.

Admittedly, this was indicated by pictograms on the directional signs inside the site, but the toilets and cafeteria were not shown on the map given at the entrance, nor on the interactive map on the official website.

All correct, as indicated. With a better guide to understand what you are seeing. It is a huge tour, it takes all day.

I hadn't understood that the ticket had to be exchanged on the spot, but that's just a detail. On the other hand, I was totally unaware that the Herculaneum site closed that day at 3:30 pm, so I wasn't able to visit the site. It's a pity that no one advises you to visit it first, knowing that it closes earlier. I paid for a combo ticket unnecessarily.

Easy to book just a day before and everything happened as per instructions. Clear and successful. What more could you ask?

It is a unique and different experience. A lot of history, but full of care. Many people but without any problem when walking around the site. Super good experience

Good in general, easy to redeem tickets and audio guide on arrival. It is toured at your own pace, the audio guide I would have liked to have more simple curiosities, the content very complete but much is more for historians, after a while it can be somewhat repetitive.

Definitely in awe of the place itself. I purchased tickets online to scan but then told at the desk I had to go to the ticket office for physical tickets to give to him. We also had some random guy claim to work as one of the archeologists and would give us a "private tour" to see the "dead people". He had an ID badge which made it more disturbing. A huge letdown was we had traveled a long distance to see the ruins and the casts of the fallen were in a separate building which was not available even though part of our ticket. Also, 2 girls by the art area with the large eye who had badges were on their phones the whole time and people were leaving due to the lack of interaction or instruction. Another area, the Villa, was closed even though it said it was open until 4:00 PM (it was 3:30 PM).

It was great to have the two hour tour which focused on aspects of the huge site. We then went off to find the extra parts we wanted to see. The service was good. The tour was good and overall we had a great day. Easy walk from Pompeii station to the site. I'm glad the weather was cooler to do that tour though.
