Prado Museum & Royal Palace of Madrid Guided Tour

Our guide Patricia was simply amazing. Her knowledge of the history of the palace, as well as her in depth explanations of the paintings in the Prado was truly enlightening. Igor both a history, and art history lesson in one day.

I've done a lot of similar guided tours. This was easily the best. Patricia was fantastic. Amazingly knowledgeable and articulate.

The experience was a bit delayed but the guide was very entertaining and funny. I would have liked to see more artwork in the museum but there wasn't much time.

We really enjoyed the tour. The guide (sorry that I forgot to ask for her name) is knowledgeable and we can feel her passion for arts and culture. I loved how she organised the tour for the art museum and showed paintings that have connections. Really appreciated.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, and pitched the descriptions at the right level for highlights covered In a short time. She was also funny and friendly. Both tours covered a lot and gave us a feel for the history of the palace and of the different painting periods and artists.

Exactly as advertised. Once we found the meeting place, we were a comfortable walkiing distance to the Palace. Our entry was quick, we did not wait in any queu, we just walked right in. Our guide Maria was friendly, informative, and was clearly excited to be providing the tour.

Our guide Marta was amazing! She was very knowledgable and great storyteller. I am also very grateful to her and the whole team for being very caring to my mother, who was slow walker. Marta was always thinking about her - elevators, skipping stairs etc. Amazing Marta!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind but the device to hear was not functioning well resulting in static noise most of the tour. Also could have used a longer break than 15 min for a 5 hour tour. Would have been great to incorporate a food experience given the length of the tour.

The tour was informative, intersting and enjoyable at the same time, thanks to a well-organized team before the tour, and a bright and vibrant tour guide!

The experience included a mini city tour while we walked from the Royal Palace to Prado's Museum. Our guide Almudena was really nice and explained a lot of details of spanish history, from the paitings inside the Prado Museum and details from de Royal House.

The metting Point was very easy to find. Angel (our tour Guide) was Fantastic. Very knowledgeble, the tours were both interesting and fun. It was great to have a detail explanation of the art work Angel selected for us to visit. We did the 5 hrs day visit, and I was with my elderly Mother. We both had a great time despite finishing a little bit exhausted. ;)

User experience to sign up was great. Our tour guide Marta was excellent! Marta is a history major. She was very knowledgible (with a great sense of humor) and experienced dealing with a diverse group of American tourists. We did the Palace & Prado tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable. I wouldn't have appreciated 9/10 of the sites on my own. Entering the palace was a bit of a free for all. But overall good experience.

Our city tour was fabulous. Our Royal Palance tour was the same. We thoroughly enjoyed the information. Two great tours. The Prado tour was not what we were expecting. The rooms were so crowded we had a difficult time seeing the painting, as our tour guide was describing the art. We left the Prado tour and looked on our own. All in all, we loved the info provided by our guides.

The visit to the Royal Palace went very well, but the visit to the Prado Museum was not as we expected, we had to wait in line for more than half an hour, then we had problems with hearing the guide because his microphone did not work well and to top it off, the visit lasted only an hour, where we saw 5 paintings and little more...

Great explanation from Marta about the history and the most relevant paintings in the Museum del Prado. But the waiting in front of the entrance of the royal palace - no other people, Marta disappearing for 20 min somewhat not well planned.

the best thing was that the guide was able to point the most important paintings blending it with some historical details

Our guide Irena was absolutely delightful. She had wonderful knowledge and presentation to the art during the Museo de Prado tour. She made the entire experience absolutely memorable for the adults and teens (who are so hard to please). Wonderful personality!
