Borghese Gallery Small-Group Guided Tour

The tour started on time and the group wasn't big. We found our guide easily at the meeting point. The tour was in English as we'd booked it. Our guide was Italian and he was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the topic and art in general. Thank you, Dimitri, for the amazing experience and knowledge you unselfishly shared with us yesterday. We really appreciate it and we truly enjoyed our time in Gallery Borghese. We kindly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to experience beauty and to see unbelievable and unique art collection.

The ticketing experience was clear, quick, and very easy to complete--kudos to the app design team! Checking in near the Gallerie was also simple and straightforward, with everyone helpful and friendly. The tour itself was phenomenal! Alessandra is clearly a master of her topic -- the art, the historical context, and the human -centered stories that bring the world of the Borghese and the Collection itself so vividly to life. For instance, hearing the stories behind the Caravaggio and Bernini pieces in the Gallerie made for a far richer experience than I otherwise would have enjoyed. I learned; I laughed; and at moments was simply awestruck. The time seemed to fly by -- over too soon! I could have listened to Allessandra all day. Now I am inspired to dig in deeper and learn more, not only about the Collection but the history of Rome in general. Gracie mille! *** The golf cart tour was also a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it as a follow-on to the gallery. I can't remember the name of my guide, unfortunately, but he was a knowledgeable and amiable young man, and it was a real treat to see the beauty of the grounds as I was was learning about its history. My guide took the time to stop and let us get out at an overlook, with an amazing view of the city, and a great photo op.

Martine / Martina is an excellent guide. She provided historical background on each piece and artist, as well as apathetic commentary. The tour was well paced, inspiring and informative.

Everything was too easy. Last time we were in Rome we missed Borghese because we hadn't booked early. So this time we found our Crown girl in front of the gallery and then sweet Leticia gave as a marvelous experience. Thank you everybody, especially Leticia

It is easy to book. Definitely suggest for visitors who loves art and history. Our guide was Salvadore. His speech was clear and his knowledge about art history was amazing. Just can say one word. It does worth it.🤩 Note: if you think it is difficult to find the meet point. Don't worry just follow the instructions and be there 10-15mins before. There are a lot of people who can help to find your group.

After a bit of a slow start, our guide arrived with apologies that the scheduled guide was stuck in traffic from the marathon. And yet... It was a wonderful experience. Our guide is an art historian - so passionate about what we were seeing! This was a truly memorable tour. Our deepest thanks .

What a feast for the eyes! A must if you love art, sculpture and painting! Our guide Guidio was passionate. His comments were very enriching and instructive. The tour is in English. It's best to have an intermediate to good level of English to enjoy all the details of the comments.

A visit to the Villa Borghese is a must when in Rome. Tickets are very hard to come by, and are almost always sold out. We were a group of 10 people, which was a plus in terms of being able to follow the tour. However, I found that the tour with the guide lacked a bit of life, she didn't involve us much and there wasn't a lot of interaction, which for me is essential for a 2-hour visit to a museum so rich in history, so as not to lose interest with all the information. Thanks, however, to guide Ivana for sharing her knowledge with us. I hope these points for improvement will be taken into account. Safaa

The view at Villa Borghese was well organized , punctual , our guide very helpful and knowledgeable . Too bad about the microphone that did not always guarantee to easily hear the very interesting descriptions . Overall very good experience , absolutely recommended

The woman who lead the Museum tour was fantastic her knowledge of the artwork was excellent and helped me see lots of details I would have otherwise missed.
