Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour

Really great guide. We loved the small group, perfect if you're easily overwhelmed in big groups or if you want a more personal experience. Would recommend! Especially if you've never visited rome.

Our wonderful guide, although I can't remember her name. She made the whole experience enjoyable and spent time making sure we all understood the artwork. As we couldn't talk during the Sistine chapel part, she made sure to find a quiet area in the gallery first to explain all the paintings within the area. As it was raining that day it was nice to be in the warmth while other tour guides were outside. While going through the gallery and explaing the artwork she made sure to add personal touches, such as telling us her favourite sculpture in the Basilica was the Pieta. When we come back to Rome I would love to take another tour with her, I'm sorry I don't remember her name.

Best decision ever! Our tour was very knowledgeable and helpful. We toured The Vatican, the Sistine Chapel and he even took us into St. Peter's without any hassles.

We took a guided tour with a wonderful guide: Nice voice, passionate about the Vatican, History, Architecture and Art. She helped us all see the Sistine Chapel and pointed out interesting the history and also compared to the other chapels and art. Great guide.

Maria, our guide in Spanish, was simply phenomenal. Patient, cheerful, entertaining, a very interesting talk; she mastered the tour perfectly. Highly recommended!

The meeting point is easy to find; you need to enter the store and go to the first floor. Then the guide meets you right in front of the store. Everything is well-organized, making the start of the tour stress-free. Our guide, an amazing lady, was almost like an athlete—walking fast and never resting. She was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us excellent explanations throughout the tour. We walked around the outside of the Vatican to enter the museum, and while everything went smoothly, I would suggest starting the tour directly in front of the museum instead. This would save a lot of time and energy, as walking all the way there is quite tiring, especially considering the many hours of walking required inside the museum. The Vatican itself is absolutely incredible. The art, architecture, and history are breathtaking and leave you in awe. I’ve been there before, and it never gets old—I’ll definitely visit again. At the end of the museum tour, we had the opportunity to visit St. Peter’s Basilica, which was the perfect way to conclude the experience. Overall, it was an amazing tour with a fantastic guide and an excellent company. Highly recommended!

Our guide was just amazing, she was so passionate about everything she talked about. She interacted with us so well and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend going with a guide as I think if we went alone we just wouldn't have understood a lot of what we were looking at

We met our group at the meeting place and went straight in, no queues. Our guide, Francesca was lovely and very knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican, artists and Catholicism. We found it very interesting but also entertaining. When we finished the tour we felt very satisfied with the experience and would recommend to our friends.

In the coincidence of the Jubilee it was crucial to have a guided tour, we skipped a few lines with a guide, who although not engaging, was very knowledgeable in describing historical details and details of the Vatican museum. The Basilica was visited independently with some guidance from the guide. However overall it was a wonderful experience, perhaps to be repeated at a time with less influx of tourists/pilgrims.

Chira was our guide, and should be requested by anyone taking this tour. Her love of the Vatican and it's history was apparent throughout our tour. She spent a great deal of time answering questions with thoughtful detail.

I made a review earlier but I just wanted to add that the only downside was that we couldn't see the School of Athens it was closed or something and we were unlucky 😭 But the lucky part was that this trip doesn't include the St Peters Basilica, but the guide was able to lead us to the entrance to the Basilica through the Sistine Chapel! We went through the Holy Doors, open only every 25 years for Jubilee, so we were lucky!!

Our guide Fabrizio was with historical education, local guy, who got his knowledge directly from Vatican when studying. Very interesting facts he told was not known by my friend who visited twice already Vatican. So I really appreciate his tour and him as funny interesting and intelligent guide. About the tour was everything in time, well organized, and within declared tour like on website. Highly recommend

Claudia was pleasant and extremely, I mean extremely knowledgeable. It's much easier to have a guide explain all the academics and history rather than wandering through it, googling everything and missing all the other senses of the exhibits. Claudia has studied the exhibits and history and it definitely showed in her enthusiasm and quality of presentation. The only thing I would suggest is to have a break as the tour was busy and intense. The Sistine Chapel is massive and left us totally speechless, there there was no where to rest and immerse yourself it it’s beauty. All in all we are so glad we took this tour and highly recommend it. And bravo Claudia!

Incredible experience guided by Carmelo, the museums are huge and you only see the works on the way to the Sistine Chapel is a reality you can not visit more. But the guide explains it to you from the beginning and you enjoy it too much, as well as if you want to stay longer you can do them. However you miss the opportunity to access quickly to St. Peter's Basilica and enjoy it as you like. It is amazing and thanks to Carmelo for the explanation and history as well as the laughs.

Excellent visit. Our guide in Spanish was very kind in fact made the tour a unique experience with his Tour a unique experience with his input and comments. The tour started on time and the meeting point was easy to locate.

It was informative. Without a guide I would be lost. I loved the Vatican. Don't forget to post a letter from the Vatican Post Office when the guide is done.
