From Munich: Full-Day Guided Tour of Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Palace Grounds

Our tour of Neuschwanstein was excellent! Cansel, our tour guide, was a wealth of information, and very sweet. She really made the trip fantastic, and Tony, our bus driver, gave us a super smooth ride. We did notice some negative comments here that we feel require rebuttal. We saw someone complain that they paid more than some other people on the bus, and another complaint that the castle tour was not included in their ticket. We found it very clear that pricing was à la carte, with different available levels. We chose the bus transportation with skip the line tickets to both Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castles, but did not select the highest level that included drinks and snacks. So we were not the least bit bothered by the fact that people who did pay extra got food and drink, and we didn't, because we didn't pay for it (we did opt to pay for drinks on the bus, as they were available for purchase). Cansel could clearly see on our reservation that our tickets to both castles were included, and she provided them with no problem. Other people who were with us who had chosen not to buy those tickets in advance were able to pay on the bus. We see no problem with this, it was all very transparent, clear, and upfront. People complaining that they got less or paid more than someone else clearly didn't understand the booking process. We have zero complaint about how everything was handled, and had an amazing 10-hour tour that we will never forget.

What an amazing time. Lots of walking, but completely worth it. The bus ride was pleasant and our guide Cansel was great. The castle was a sight to see and an experience of a lifetime.

Elisabeth and Mueriel (the driver) are a great team. She is funny, sweet and you can tell she enjoys her job The bus was clean and quiet. I thank the goodie bag of the premium package. Congratulations

It was simple and easy to buy tickets with headout. The instructions for the meeting point were very specific and easy to follow. The tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour in particular because the views from the bus were stunning and the combination of visiting Linderhof and Neuschwanstein was definitely worth it, both were stunning. The bus left at 0900 and was a couple of hours to Linderhof palace. We were given some time to admire the grounds before the tour started. It's a small palace but makes up for it in beauty on the inside, the ammount of marble and ornate decorations was impressive. We then got back on the bus and drove another hour to Hohenschwangau, the town where Neuschwanstein is. When we arrived we were given our tickets and time for our tour, we had a few hours to explore the town and get some lunch. The tour was wonderful and we were given an audio guide to listen to the information about each room. After the tour we got back on the bus to Munich and were dropped off at around 1900

Everything was well organized, the guide was very professional and nice, the schedule was met to the minute, and the trip was comfortable and pleasant.

Our tour guide on the bus ( she s from Canada..forgot her name) was fantastic. She gave clear instructions from start to finish and really it was so well organized. 👏 the tour was well planned and totally worth the money. The guided visits at the castles were very informative and the way they were presented familiarized us very well with the history and culture of Bavaria. ALSO THE driver that day drove us safely to our destination despite the snow. I will do this again in a heartbeat!! Thanks for offering a great well planned visit.

The timing of the tour was great. In particular, our tour guide was very good and the information he was gave sufficient.

This experience was a highlight of our trip. Annette was an excellent tour guide and the scenery, palace and castles were magical - a must see!

The guide Cansel and the driver made our trip an unforgettable experience. We learned many details of the Bavarian region that were not related to the castles, they even taught us some words in the Bavarian dialect. Highly recommended, not to be missed.

You overcharged the hell out of me. You charged me over $200 for 2 people but others showed up at the tour and paid only €66. You're scum and I'm never going to use your service again and I'm going to advice everyone I know to stay away from you.

The guide ... Jonnie was first class on knowledge and carrying a fun mood! We had a great time. However... Disappointingly I paid for tickets that said they included castle acccess and we had to pay additional amounts to enter.

A magical trip to Kings dream who was rather late in the scene. The hist was great and with drinks to buy in the bus - including beer, Perfect!!!!

What I liked most about booking is the ease of booking, although it should be clearer what has been paid for and what is left over from the tour. Overall, it went well

I paid for premium guided tour where the description says it will be for a small group of people but only to found out I'm in a big bus with others who paid half of what I paid. Well at least the double price I paid resulted in the guide reserving the front row seats for those who paid premium prices.

It was described in your offer that entry to the castles was included in the price. This was not the case. We had to pay 33€ more per person. Not satisfied with Headout

There was insufficient time to fully enjoy the castle due to the other stops. We could have easily have done without the trip to the town with the passion play & frankly it's unclear what the point was apart from an additional toilet stop. This limited the time we had for the main castle which was the reason we booked the tour.

The luxury bus, snacks, coffee and water was awesome. Definitely worth the extra money. Our driver was very friendly and helpful. Barbara our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. The castle were cool, getting in as a private group was good. Side stops were also good with time to browse and shop.

Luxury transport with nice refeshments on the bus. Very knowledgeable guide. No waiting in queues at the castles. A day packed with memories to cherish!
