Palat și terenuri frumoase. Ar fi mult mai ușor dacă fiecare locație ar avea un număr pe ea care se potrivește cu ghidul video și mai multă semnalizare. Am ieșit din motive înainte de a găsi chiar cafenea, care a fost nefericit ca nu se poate re-intra.

Accesul la castel a fost rapid și fluent. Însă conținutul ghidului audio a fost sub așteptările mele. A răspuns la întrebarea "ce văd și unde găsesc", dar nu la "de ce a fost necesar, ce simboluri ar trebui să caut, care este semnificația din spate, cât de unice și populare au fost aceste practici". Nu cred că merită să plătiți în plus pentru asta.

Parcul. Ar fi bine dacă nu v-ați baza doar pe ghidul audio, ci ați pune și indicatoare și informații în engleză. Ne-am rătăcit de mai multe ori cu ghidul audio și nu am găsit totul
Moorish Castle
Perched atop one of the peaks of Sintra Hills, this fortress was built to serve the purpose of a watchtower and observation post back when large swathes of Portugal were occupied by the Moors.
The power of controlling the castle has passed through many hands, including Portuguese, Vikings, and Christian rule. With Sintra’s importance dwindling, the castle was eventually abandoned. The castle offers astonishing views from all sides. Towards the south, view the great river Tejo to Arrabida, and to the west, Cabo da Roca, and to the north, Peniche. From the top of the castle, get to view the Pena Palace and the hills of Sintra. Today the castle is a National Monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
