Witness the art of making Port Wine
As you begin your visit, you’ll realize how much hard work goes into making the famed Fonseca Port wine sustainably. Although the process is centuries old, to this day, it's a labor of love. In the wine cellars, you’ll see grapes being traditionally picked by hand and crushed by foot since machines cannot produce high-quality results. Take some time to immerse yourself in the well-thought-out exhibits in the cellar as well.

Taste Fonseca's signature Bin 27 Port wine. Children between the ages of 8 and 17 years can munch on cookies and enjoy a glass of grape juice in the historic tasting room. Test your ability to identify port wine aromas and learn about the food pairings that go with different wines from the staff.
The WOW cultural district pays homage to the Porto region with 7 fun and interactive museum experiences. If you upgrade you can get access to 1 permanent exhibit of the WOW Museum. Become a wine connoisseur as you dive into how wines are made, what affects their taste, how to distinguish a good wine from bad, and the right way to taste its notes at the Wine Experience or pose next to a life-size replica of the iconic Porto tram at the Porto Region Across The Ages.
