The zoo hosts penguins, meerkats, majestic bald eagles, otters, and other creatures from the habitats of Africa, Asia, the Amazon, and Australia.

Zoo Miami hosts interactive experiences like feeding the giraffes at the Samburu Feeding Station throughout the day. Don't miss the fascinating Galapagos Tortoises, and Goliath, the zoo's oldest resident tipping the scales at a whopping 500 pounds! Lush rainforests with playful monkeys and jaguars walking through the undergrowth will leave you feeling like you’re in a real-life documentary. Hundreds of birds flying at the Wings of Asia Aviary is a sight you cannot miss. Feeding animals is strictly prohibited throughout the zoo, except in designated areas like the giraffe feeding station or the parrot feeding areas.
