Your experience
Your experience
If you love art and history, then this 2-hour private guided tour of the Rodin Museum and its gardens is a tour that you're going to enjoy.
The art and the artist
Auguste Rodin is a well-known French artist and sculptor who has many iconic sculptures to his name. Visit the Mansion where nearly 300 of his artworks are on display. Your expert guide will take you through his life, his artworks, and the struggles he faced as an artist. One of the known facts about his struggles is that he had weak eyesight, which seemed very unlikely for a talented artist such as him. But, even that didn't deter him from creating masterpieces like "The Kiss", which you can find inside the museum.
The Gardens of Sculptures
The garden is a great place to relax, soak in all the art around you, and enjoy more of Auguste Rodin's sculptures. "The Thinker" and "The Gates of Hell" are among the famous ones that you can spot there. The Thinker is his depiction of a real-life boxer Yves le Terrible, whose physique was muscular, that of a boxer. The sculpted physique, the posture, and the fact that he kept himself isolated from the rest made this a very iconic piece. As your tour comes to an end, you can spend some more time in the garden if you like.
