Easy access, free ticket collection for my 6-year-old daughter inside. Spectacular visit. A visit to the arena is a must. Audioguide to the Colosseum not essential, as very brief. We didn't visit the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum because my daughter was tired. We could have come back the next day, as the ticket is valid for 24 hours, but we had other plans.View original review in FrenchIrene

After 5th x in Rome still nice experience, tickets fine, remember many checks , and if there is rain ( as we had a shower) paper tickets fade your QR code ( not happened, but didn't make much difference) via app is more convenient then.View original review in DutchDe

The Colosseum
The Colosseum is one of Italy’s most popular destinations, attracting over 5 million visitors every year. Believed to have been constructed as a gift from the ancient emperors to the Roman people, this grand outdoor amphitheater once served as the epicenter for entertainment, hosting various public spectacles and games. A stage for gladiator fights, often including animals, the Colosseum has quite the bloody past. Step back in time, marvel at the impressive architecture and walk the floor of the greatest arena known to mankind.
Your Colosseum ticket also includes entry to the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Head to the Roman Forum and travel back in time as you walk along the same paths as the ancient Romans did. You’ll get a chance to witness popular sites including the Temple of Antoninus Pius, Temple of Castor and Pollux, Temple of Saturn, Arch of Septimius Severus and much more. Palatine Hill offers one of the best views of the city. Once considered the most desirable neighborhood in Rome, Palatine Hill lives on as an extensive archaeological site and was the chosen spot for Emperors to build their homes.
The Caracalla Baths
The Thermae Antonianae, one of the largest and best-preserved examples of an ancient spa complex, was constructed under the auspices of Emperor Caracalla in the southern part of the city. The building was finished in 216 A.D. and exhibits the rectangular plan typical of Imperial spa centers. The spa itself was not simply a place for bathing, sport, and health, it was also a place of study and for relaxing. Around the center of the structure the various parts of the spa are found in sequential order: the "Calidarium", the "Tepidarium", the "Frigidarium" and the "Natatio". There are also other zones and areas to be found around the two gymnasiums. The water system was made possible by the construction of a special duct from the main aqueduct called the Aqua Antoniana. Throughout its history the spa was reconstructed several times and before finally closing altogether in 537 A.D.
