A high-flying adventure like no other
If you want a mix of adventure and nature, then this zipline experience is just for you. Set in Ohoheriki forest, this award-winning experience will take you on a 1.5-hour journey on a series of ziplines that wind through towering trees and lush greenery. The experience starts at the base with a safety briefing and getting strapped into the equipment. Once done, you hop onto a minivan for a 15-minute drive to the first where the experience will take place. Then, you walk for 300 meters before you reach the initial platform from where the adventure begins.

The tour includes six ziplines with the longest zipline stretching up to 220 meters, allowing you to soar high above the forest floor at 50 km/hr, providing a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of this pristine environment. Alongside ziplining, you will also get to walk on swing bridges and elevated platforms and feed some native birds, pausing to enjoy panoramic views of the forest and listen to fascinating stories about the region’s natural history shared by your two knowledgeable guides.
