Begin your journey at the grand entrance of the Royal Palace of Caserta, where your expert guide will introduce you to the splendor of 18th-century Bourbon royalty. Skip the lines and ascend the magnificent Staircase of Honor, a marble masterpiece that leads you to the upper floors. Spend the next couple of hours exploring the Royal Apartments, adorned with luxurious Empire-style furniture and San Luieco silk. Learn all about the Throne room, which once had grand chandeliers on its ceiling, the paintings in the Murat accommodation, and Queen Maria’s studio from your knowledgeable guide. You can also avail of audio headsets for better hearing.
Take a walk in the Royal Park
After the tour comes to a close, immerse yourself in the tranquility of the royal garden that sprawls 120 hectares. Stroll through the charming ponds and corners of the English Garden. Then, stop by the Fountain of Diana and Actaeon, which features the goddess on one side and Actaeon in his deer form on the other. Don't miss the majestic waterfall that flows right in between the two marble statues. Catch a glimpse of the Fountain of the Dolphins, featuring a waterjet that emerges from the mouth of a sea monster.
