I already knew the Palace from the outside, but the inside is incredible. Our guide Alexandra was very friendly and explained everything very well. I recommend it.

The palace itself was beautiful however the guide lacked enthusiam and did not ensure the tour was engaging and interactive. We sometimes had trouble hearing her with the mic and there was alot of background noise.

It was a great experience. It started with the visit to the Royal Palace. The explanations of Marta, our guide, were very good and appropriate. Her knowledge of the history of the palace and Spanish royalty made the visit to the palace easy. The Royal Palace is well worth a visit. We continued our tour through the streets of Madrid to get to know the Madrid of the Hapsburgs and other peculiarities of the town until we reached the Prado Museum. We visited its most important rooms focusing on the work of El Greco, Velázquez and Goya among other painters. Marta's explanations and comments helped us to understand much better the magnificent works of these geniuses. All in all a very pleasant day and highly recommended.

The tour was amazing as our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. Thank you for all of the information we got really lucky and saw some of the changing of the guard as it was Wednesday. The ticketing process was easy as well.

The guide could have been more interesting from a historical point of view. At the agreed location. 15 minutes before the tour, the guide wasn't there. I had to call. The meeting point was changed without any warning

Within the palace, you can visit some of the most impressive rooms and galleries in the palace, like the throne lounge, the gala dining room, the royal chapel, and the parade grounds. Many other collections of great historical and artistic importance are also preserved in the palace, including the Royal porcelain, watches, furniture, silverware, and the world's only complete Stradivarius string quintet.

Recently, the Royal Palace of Madrid opened the 'Ala de Bailén', a set of 7 rooms, among which are the Saleta de María Cristina, the Diario Dining Room, the Halls of Mirrors, Tapestries and Weapons, the Official Tram, and the Official Chamber. With this ticket, you will be able to travel back in time and enjoy seeing objects of great historical and artistic value. A quarter of a century away from tourist visits, too! Another thing the Royal Palace of Madrid is known for is the unpublished exhibition of instruments from the 17th and 19th centuries, such as the grand piano by Francisco Fernández, or the two harps by Sebastian Erard. The most outstanding piece, however, is the double bass by Nicolò Amati, one of the best builders of stringed instruments.
