We had booked the Semperoper and Old Town tour package. I would like to praise Johannes Otto, who gave us an entertaining, pleasant and amusing introduction to the history of the Semperoper and various sights in the historic Old Town. You could easily have listened to him for another 2 to 3 hours. He also responded to questions with great interest. We have rarely experienced such a great tour guide. Keep him around so that many more visitors can enjoy his guided tours. Thank you very much.

The guide was very personable and had a pleasant voice. But the tour of the Semper Opera House was disappointing, I had hoped for more background information. We briefly heard something about Semper in the foyer and on the 1st floor, then we sat in the 1st tier for half an hour. The other guided tours could be heard at the same time. As if time had to be served. The Old Town tour was too short and too general afterwards
