Up Above the World
Towering above the world's busiest pedestrian crossing, Shibuya Sky is undoubtedly a must-visit when planning your Tokyo itinerary. Your journey begins at the Sky Gate, situated on the 14th floor. The staff will guide you to the Sensing Hall where hypnotic animations across the ceiling will hold your gaze as you wait for the transition pod to the 45th floor. A narrow escalator leads to the Sky Gallery on the 46th floor, an indoor observation deck.
An Inside-Out Look at the City
The Sky Gallery's main attraction is the Time River – an immersive installation that takes you on a journey through different eras of Japanese history. You can also check out Parallel Windows placed at varying angles, offering a unique view of the cityscape. Stop at the Sky Gallery during the golden hour as the sun sets over Tokyo and the city is bathed in a warm, golden light.
Take a breath of freedom as you walk along Sky Stage and see the bustling skyline below. Walk along the giant observation deck and spot Mt. Fuji, Tokyo Stadium, Tokyo Skytree, and Roppongi Hills from a bird’s eye view. Watch the clouds float by as you lay down and relax on the cloud hammock, enjoying the views and the breeze from the top.
