The view was nice from the boat. Great to see the scenery along the river. The commentary was difficult to hear from the upper deck.

The experience itself was nice, but the problem was that we were at the Terrassenufer half an hour beforehand, but nobody told us that we had to take the shuttle bus 20 minutes beforehand and that we had to get to the Kurländerpalais first. Of course, the bus was already gone when we got there and we had to rebook with their partner, the Sächsische Dampfschifffahrt, for a later date at 1 pm. It's a good thing they were so accommodating because otherwise the ticket would have expired. It's a pity and sad that the email from Headout only mentioned Terrassenufer as the meeting point, not that you have to take a shuttle bus to get to the start of the Elbe cruise. Because you should have known that, as the Carola Bridge has been collapsed for some time and you therefore have to take the shuttle bus around the city to get to the starting point of the Elbe trip. This information would have been important, because then we would have gone straight to the shuttle bus and could have made the trip we had actually booked at 11am.
