The DDR Museum is always worth a visit. I have my grandchildren from Munich in Berlin and it was their wish to go there 👍 in the 10th grade they just dealt with the GDR, which I think is incredibly good 👍👍👍

Positive: - Online ordering and payment possible - Good overview of the living situation in the GDR at that time - Good selection of exhibits Negatives: - App to display the ticket could not be installed - Exhibition unfortunately very full, therefore many exhibits not accessible - A little bit missing the "red thread" in the exhibition

Only animals allowed are service and guide dogs with verification shown at the ticket desk.
Wheelchair users are asked to contact the museum beforehand in order to access the side entrance. The majority of the permanent exhibition allows barrier-free access.
There is no bag check though guests will be required to pay 1 euro for a locker if the staff considers a bag to be too big.
