Your Experience
Your Experience
Start your boat cruise from Murray Street Pier. As you settle in your boat, the cruise will head to Battery Point and Sandy Bay. You'll get to see the oldest casino in Australia, Wrest Point Casino. Along your 1.5 hour cruise, you'll hear live commentary from the captain, narrating interesting trivia about the sights you see. The boat will take you across the Derwent River to the Eastern Shore. On your way there, you will travel by Kangaroo Bluff, a historic site developed in the late 1800s. You will slip quietly under the Tasman Bridge, a 56-year-old construction.
As you head back to the pier, you'll pass by the Royal Botanic Garden, Australia’s cool climate garden that houses the country's only Subantarctic Plant House. You will also catch a glimpse of the Government House. To top the experience off, you'll enjoy a delicious one-course meal onboard. You can choose between steak, crumbed fish, chicken schnitzel or a veggie patty.
