What's not to love, the lush vegetation and amazing homes provided for each group of animals was just as Mother nature intended. The staff are amazing. Friendly and super helpful. Lunch was delicious and super sized, the drink and ice cream cafes dotted around the complex where great... no one is going hungry here. I wish we had our children with us, kids world was right out of this world. This is a super day set out for all ages. Free walking Lima's, mummy sloth with her but on her tummy, pigmy hippo with his dancing ballerina feet had to be my favourite. I shall make it a must every time l am passing through Singapore. Love. Love, love this place ❤️Harshali

Attraction is designed for kids of all ages. Ticketing experience was seamless and customer service representative in India was very helpful too. Tip : you can do night safari and next day go for an attraction like garden by bay or universal studios ahead of going to zoo and river safari.

The proximity to the animals was quite extraordinary for a zoo. Staff do a brilliant job of caring the animals and enabling the public to interact r soectfully with the animals.

Lots of variety and family friendly attractions. Easy to get to with the shuttle bus available from MRT station. Well maintained facilities as well. A peacock was a regular visitor in one of the food areas 🙂

A ride through Singapore Zoo
Enter the animal kingdom at Singapore Zoo and take in the plethora of animals and habitats at this open-air wildlife park. Singapore Zoo houses over 2,800 animals including over 300 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles. They are separated from the visitors only by moats and secure wooden fencing so that all zones feel like authentic habitats to the animals. The different zones you can explore are Frozen Tundra, Wild Africa, Fragile Forest, Australasia, Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, Treetops Trail, Gibbon Island, Primate Kingdom, Reptile Garden, Tortoise Shell-ter, Tropical Crops & Orchid Garden.

- The sea lion and penguin habitats will be undergoing a major revamp and will close from 15 July 2024, with works expected to be completed in 2027. During this period, visitors interested in seeing sea lions can enjoy Splash Safari Presentation, held daily at 10:30am and 5pm in Shaw Foundation Amphitheatre.
