Getting started

Your adventure begins with a transfer from Queenstown to the skydiving base. After check-in, meet your experienced tandem instructor for a comprehensive safety briefing and gear fitting. Then, board the aircraft and enjoy a scenic 15–20 minute flight over the Wakatipu Basin as you climb to your selected jump altitude.

What to expect

Board a scenic 15–20 minute flight to your chosen jump altitude and take in sweeping views of the Wakatipu Basin below. Then, securely harnessed to your Jumpmaster, experience an exhilarating freefall at speeds of up to 200km/h for 25 to 60 seconds, depending on the option selected. After the parachute deploys, enjoy a peaceful 4–5 minute canopy ride before landing back on the ground.

What to bring

Bring along your closed shoes to make sure your footwear won't fall off.

What's not allowed

Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for guests under the height of 1.2m (3.94ft), under the weight of 40kg (88.18lb), and under the age of 6 years.

Keep your camera tucked away – personal cameras and GoPro’s are prohibited from being onboard the aircraft for safety and insurance reasons.

Additional information

Dress snug in warm layers; Queenstown is known to have a chilly twist in the weather.

All children and guests weighing over 95kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.

All guests are required to complete a pre-registration form at check-in.

Children aged 12 years and under are permitted to skydive from a maximum height of 9,000ft.

Guests under the age of 18 years require written parental or guardian consent.

A surcharge of NZD50 will apply if a passenger weighs 95- 104.9 kg, payable onsite.

A surcharge of NZD75 will apply if a passenger weighs 105-115kgs, payable onsite.

Facilities: lockers, free Wi-Fi, and restrooms.

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 mins before the scheduled time of your visit to avoid any delays.
