Det var vägavstängningar och vi skulle inte hinna i tid till Franz Josef. Vi ringde dem och de planerade om vår resa till nästa dag. Tack och lov fanns det en öppen plats. Det rekommenderas att boka resan för den dag du når Franz Josef så att du har viss flexibilitet i eventuella problem. Smidig incheckning och en minnesvärd resa. Vi tog 1 glaciär 20 min åktur. Piloten var utmärkt och tog bilder för oss ... vi stannade i bra 7 minuter även om det skulle vara ett 2 minuters stopp. Definitivt värt pengarna.

Franz Josef / Fox Glacier-helikopterturen har ärligt talat varit den bästa upplevelsen av vår 4 veckors semester. What to bring

Bring along your sunglasses, covered shoes (sneakers or trainers are fine) hiking boots, and 3 to 4 layers of warm clothing.

What's not allowed

Selfie sticks and drones are not allowed on this experience.

Please avoid using iPads for photography during flights as they can obstruct views. Feel free to use phones, cameras, or GoPros instead.

Snow landings are subject to weather conditions and are at the pilot’s discretion.
