VÄr guide Jimmy var fantastisk och gav ett brett utbud av information om öarnas kultur, djurliv och kulinariska lÀckerheter. SÀrskilt njöt av vÄrden och uppmÀrksamheten pÄ alla gÀster som deltog i det mycket behovet och höll turnén pÄ rÀtt spÄr och till och med före schemat sÄ att vi kunde njuta av nÄgra speciella extra stopp för att Njut av Det Àr en WOW allround frÄn oss !!!!:skrattar:

BiljettförsÀljningen var enkel och snabb. Grant vÄr guide var mycket kunnig och hade massor av information som han gÀrna delade. Lunch pÄ Puben var utsökt och sightseeingen var fantastisk. Guiden var mycket tÄlmodig, trevlig och kunnig. Observera att det inte fanns nÄgra flervalsalternativ för feedback som pÄ ett adekvat sÀtt beskrev min feedback, sÄ jag var tvungen att vÀlja "min guide var oförskÀmd otrevlig" (guiden var varken eller) eftersom jag annars inte skulle ha kunnat lÀmna skriftlig feedback. Jag hade ett par kommentarer om det sprÄk som guiden anvÀnde under resan. Den första handlade om inkluderande sprÄk för deltagarna. Det hÀnde att guiden kallade deltagarna för "damer och herrar", vilket inte erkÀnner min identitet som icke-binÀr deltagare (det vill sÀga nÄgon som inte uteslutande Àr antingen man eller kvinna). Genom att anvÀnda ett alternativt sprÄk som "alla" eller "teamet" undviker man att exkludera icke-binÀra deltagare. En andra kommentar jag hade handlade om kommentarer om Bruny Island. VÀrden kommenterade hur ett antal mÀnniskor som bodde pÄ ön hade blivit "Cook-galna" och namngett gatuskyltar etc. efter James Cook. Detta kommunicerades som ett intressant faktum som deltagarna kunde vara intresserade av, snarare Àn som nÄgot som kunde fÄ First Nations-deltagare och First Nations-invÄnare pÄ Bruny Island att kÀnna sig kulturellt osÀkra, med tanke pÄ Cooks roll i den vÄldsamma koloniseringen av Australien. Att erkÀnna de skadliga rasistiska och koloniala konsekvenserna av att namnge landmÀrken etc. efter kolonister som James Cook, sÀrskilt med tanke pÄ att mÄnga koloniserade lÀnder medvetet gÄr i motsatt riktning, och ta bort hÀnvisningen till kolonister, skulle ha visat mer kÀnslighet och hjÀlpt till att utbilda deltagarna.

What's not allowed
- This tour is not recommended for children aged 2 and under.
- Children aged 5 and under cannot participate in the Cape Bruny Lighthouse tour but can walk inside at the base under the supervision of an adult.
